If all you read is western propaganda this is exactly the view you'll end up with. Everything in your post is propaganda. Stalin was popular and elected many times. He managed with the help of his government to turn an agricultural backwater into a world power in a short time.

In the Soviet Union, there were only three kinds of people-- people who vouched for Stalin, dead people, and people in Gulags. And nobody wants to die or end up in Soviet prison.
Guess who is buried in Britain?:

Although not elected, one man - and his western voters - did infinitely more damage to someone who previously had a 25-point lead over him: yet that evaporated in the space of less than 24 hours.

If all you watch is RT - eastern propaganda - this is exactly the view you'll end up with.

Jeremy Corbyn managed with the help of his supporters to turn a government into a farm cesspit in a shorter time.
Stalin was deleted. Corbyn is going to the top .
Dictatorship of the Proletariat beats dictators every time.
LOL! Seriously. He was "elected"? He "helped" agriculture - by crippling it.
Stalin was no hero. His paranoid, crude policies killed untold millions of people.
And the gulags...oh merciless hell.
It's pretty easy to be 'popular' when you command it under threat of horrible death.
But you're kinda right, in that he was no worse than the church/nobility rule before him.
Yeah, and Hitler was popular and managed to find jobs for Aryan Germans (by sending the Jews, who held those jobs, to concentration camps).
And he did wonderful things to the agriculture of the countries under his rule. After all, it's not like there was famine and mass shortages of damn near everything, right? All western propaganda. The USSR was a land of plenty, where everyone had whatever their hearts desired. And no one was ever unpersoned or sent into mental health facilities for opposing the Party. They were just shown the error of their ways and decided to go away for a while, taking all evidence of their existence with them.
Someone is definitely being taken in by propaganda. And they deleted their account.
Confused?
