If you wish to believe that the grand canyon and its layers were formed over millions of years you are perfectly welcome to believe that, however it's just a fairytale, a canyon has never been seen to form that way. In terms of the marine fossils, which don't take millions of years to form, if you want to believe they came about because over millions of years the continents sank then came back up again, entirely up to you, but it's total imagination.
