Why am I not surprised that someone from the left yet again conflates the dynamics of a family with the dynamics of hundreds of strangers?
No, we don't have gender segregated bathrooms in the house. It's one person at a time anyway.
Doesn't mean that model works well when you have hundreds of strangers.

"Multiple psychologists say that gender dysphoria is a serious problem requiring action. You say it isn't and trans people need thicker skin. They're trained professionals backed up by research. You're a random person making completely unsupported assertions. Sorry, but their advice trumps yours."
Yeah and I'm sure they also say that not getting sex is a serious problem requiring action. Doesn't mean random people should be required to engage in that action. Generally speaking, needs shouldn't come before individual autonomy.
You provided some links, but here is another article from the same source:
https://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/web-loneliness/201405/the-loneliness-elliot-rodger
"To say that being a loner, or suffering from loneliness is the sole reason for these mass shootings would be misleading. However, it certainly appears to be a factor. Indeed, feeling separated from the rest of humanity removes one barrier to committing these crimes. If you don’t feel a part of the human race or worse, you feel injustice from others, you probably feel less guilt about killing them."
Now, I'm not disputing that pandering to crazy (or entitled) people might make them feel better, but it doesn't come without a price. Some us aren't willing to pay it. The price for embracing everything the trans agenda stands for is the erosion of our culture, invasion of our privacy (schools now can't even prohibit a biological boy from going into the same locker room with the girls, as long as he says he "identifies" as a girl) and ultimately the elimination of any meaningful male/female distinctions. If these people could, they would deem it immoral (if not illegal child abuse) to call your baby boy a boy or your baby girl a girl because "the gender binary is oppressive" and "just because it has a dick doesn't mean it's a boy" (yeah they actually argue or at least imply this).
"Change 'men and women' to 'blacks and whites' and this is exactly the same argument that failed decades ago."
Not even remotely similar. There's very little difference between a black male and a white male. The same can't be said for male and female. The dynamics are so different, particularly when it comes to intimate issues, that some segregation is in order. And both sides agree some is necessary. Blacks didn't enjoy being excluded from most of society.
Sports teams aren't segregated due to "sexism". It's because men and women aren't on an even playing field.
