[The gay rights movement is] about the suppression and destruction of Christianity in America.
Really? So then why all the talk about civil rights for gay's and no talk of the destruction of christianity? Grow. The. Fuck. Up. Neither the gays rights movement nor the world revolves around christianity, but yet here you are, and all the while shouting "Help, help! I'm being oppressed! The evil gays want something that has nothing to do with my religion! Look at me, Look at me! Only my opinions are worthy of notice!"
The gay rights movement exists to advocate that gays are extended the same rights as everyone else, such as the right to love or marry whomever they want. It's not attempting or advocating the destruction of christianity, as evidenced by the numerous christians who are either gay or advocate the rights of gays.
It’s about the suppression and destruction of long-established moral values.
Just because something is "long established" doesn't mean that it's good or moral. Slavery is just one example, segregation is another. Hell, not even fifty years ago there were "good christians" like yourself championing the idea that giving a black man the same status and rights as a white man was an attempt to destroy christianity because "god" meant for all non-whites to be subservient to white christians. They were wrong then and you are wrong now. This is not about you religion or your so-called "moral values", this is about you wanting to feel superior over those you look down on or feel have offended you.
It’s about the destruction of the long-established concept of the father-mother-children family.
How so? It's not as if that's the one and only way to raise a child. What about children who are raised by a single parent for one reason or another? Is their childhood somehow inadequate because of it? Was MY childhood somehow inadequate because my father died and I wasn't raised in your mother-father-children family dynamic? Are my children recieving an inadequate childhood because they have two loving parents who just happen to be divorced? And if it's not inadequate then what are you even arguing against? It's not as if the gay rights movement advocates that there should be no heterosexual marriages or traditional families. Your entire argument is nothing more than a homophobic fiction you people have created and then piggyback onto your religion.
Let those who have eyes, see.
Let those who have ears, hear.
The warnings are out there on a daily basis
"Warnings" Ha! Your "warnings" are nothing more than bigoted propaganda.
Restore homosexuality as a mental disease or disorder in the DSM.
Re-criminalize public displays of homosexuality.
So you're saying that it should be a crime for people to act in a manner that that you, personally do not approve of? You're saying that people who are not attracted to the gender you demand they be attracted to should be consider as having a mental disease? Of course we all know that people like yourself could not, and would not stop there. So what would be next? Would you then want to make it a crime to not believe in a "god" or follow a religion? Would you want to have it considered to be a mental illness to not be a christian? Would you then make it a crime just to think or express the idea that people who have different beliefs, different lifestyles, different skin colors, or different ideology deserve to be treated with respect and not criminalized because they refuse to be subservient to the principle of Christianity Uber Alles?
