If it's so true, why can't it stand on its own? Why does it require your assistance?
Good to know you admit you are being intolerant and judging others. Your god doesn't like that, though.
Words are harmless. I can tell you the sky is green all day but the only the most idiotic would believe me.
The only words I could utter that could possibly be worth hiding from are the truth.
No wonder your so scared.
Almost there. Your intolerance and censoriousness are to be commended. However, you seem to be somewhat lacking in the ability to sucker people in to a world of ignorance and stupidity. There surely are many wayward souls out there who would benefit from the society of their fellow dunderheads and would flourish under the authority of an ignorant and stupid Cosmic Overlord. And, let's be fair, God, who is that ignorant and stupid cosmic overlord, just craves worship, particularly from gabbling imbeciles.
To conclude, do not encourage people to escape the clutches of the Supreme Supernatural Clump-of-ethereal-cells by forcing them to look elsewhere for their fun. Rather let them clamour ceaselessly on your site so that you may refute them in as doltish a way as you possibly can until ignorance and stupidity will one day prevail. In other words, look to your strengths.

“I think that all good, right thinking people in this country are sick and tired of being told that all good, right thinking people in this country are fed up with being told that all good, right thinking people in this country are fed up with being sick and tired. I'm certainly not, and I'm sick and tired of being told that I am”

Well, at least you admit that you're intolerant and don't try to call your intolerance "Love". Still, you shouldn't be so proud of being intolerant. That's anti-social behavior.

I'm seeing a pattern here; first only YOU (and your ilk) are allowed to be intolerant and then only you and your ilk are allowed to judge. It's your website so you're allowed to be a hypocrite but it only highlights how weak you really are.

That's the worst kind of censorship. It'd be far better and more honest if you just deleted their links. Changing their links is blatantly misrepresenting someone's position. And again, you're allowed to do that as it's your site but, again, it highlights how weak you really are.
In other words, you're not allowed to disagree with us here or we'll ban you forever.
This really isn't too different from Rapture Ready's rules, except there you have to agree to have your posts deleted on the whim of the moderator, and you're not allowed to complain about it or even ask why your post was deleted without being banned.
But it is interesting how most if not all Christian message boards have extreme levels of moderation where atheist message boards typically have little moderation. It's almost as if atheists are in favor of sharing different views while Christians are so afraid of anyone exposing their fairy tale that they heave to ban all dissenting viewpoints.

Ergo, FSTDT. QED. Don't want people 'twisting Scripture' as you define it? Then become Unitarian Universalists (or even Quakers. They've never been 'threatened, certainly today. You do the maths). Christians in the truest sense of the word. Humble. Loving. Tolerant. They're not threatened. Proof? I challenge you to go through FSTDT's entire archive, and fine one quote by a UU or Quaker.

There's Christians here in FSTDT (oh, but they're not 'True Christians' though, are they?!). I'm sure they'd agree that if a 'belief' even needs to be defended, then it can't be much of a belief.
There's still Coptic Christians in Egypt. The Coptic Church in Egypt was the first established Christian church, way before the Holy Roman church.
Your call, The Pilgrim.
@Huckster Sam
Even outside of fundies, this kind of belief is disturbingly commonplace. People seem to think that being allowed to speak your mind means no one can comment or disagree with you as it is "infringing on your right to an opinion".
And yet they fail to see the irony in that.

Well, I find your intolerance of my intolerance of your intolerance intolerable. Good day!
Though as said before, at least you yahoos are honest, and aren't trying to paint it as love and compassion.
"If you can’t leave a comment without judging us for judging others then please find another blog to comment on that allows you to blatantly twist Scripture while you judge them."
And you know what? If you yahoos were content to just stew about how horrible I am for loving...*gasp*...another man, I could care less. You look like ignorant savages, but that doesn't offend me at all, really. It's when you decide you can decide better than I can what is right and what is not for myself. Leave me alone, and I'll leave you alone.

Nasty feeling that you think the only Christians are the 23 members of your snake hangling church way out in the boonies...
Maybe it's just because I already had a headache, but reading this quote made me feel all strange... like my brain was full of fuck.
And then I asked a friend, and her reaction? "MY BRAIN IS FULL OF FUCK."
There we go.
"We will not tolerate your intolerance of our intolerance."
I thought this meta-irony meter would be pretty much indestructible, but nooo. Upon reading this, it pegged... then just died.
RIP MIM. There goes my second mortgage.
"We will not tolerate your intolerance of our intolerance."
That's nice dear. Not please put your helmet back on, you're going to miss the short bus.
*sits with fancy judge wig on, judging them for judging others*
The verdict? I can't possibly tolerate this intolerance!

Or in other words, Tolerance is a door that swings both ways (pun may or may not be intended). If you can't tolerate anyone different from you & your ilk, The Pilgrim, then what makes you fundies think that you & your words, actions and thoughts have the right to be tolerated by everyone else?
There were a group of people in the past, who didn't tolerate those they thought of as 'undesirable', 'enemies of the state', or generally 'inferior subhumans'. Good people died in WWII to eliminate them & their way of thinking.
So indeed, the only thing that has no right to be tolerated is intolerance itself.
Now justify right-wing Fundamental ist Christianity's right to exist, The Pilgrim.

As I pointed out once to the ex-troll TOS(ser), before his ban, 'Opinions & personal views are like arses. Everyone has one, but not everyone wants to air theirs in public. And not everyone wants yours in their faces.'
In that case, don´t cry persecution. When you don´t respect other people´s ideas, guess what?, they tend not to respect yours and it counts when you spam other blogs. Freedom of speech goes both ways.
The funny thing is that, first of all, as you said, Christian faith doesn´t have to be "defended". If you really believe in it, you are more or less invulnerable to the critics. Ok, you can debate, but it´s not necessary to "defend" it, as if it were going to disappear otherwise. Second, judging others and misinterpreting other people´s words to get your purposes is the most unchristian thing and no sane Christian would do that so blatantly without the risk of making a total ridicule. If this guy is not poeish, which I doubt, he´s not particularly intelligent.
Confused?
