I have seen/heard/read about many individuals whose licentious lifestyle led them to a state of complete immorality (meaning they didn't care who they slept with, so long as it fulfilled their inner cravings).

Also, I have read accounts of people who had become "possessed" and became incessed with homosexual urges and tendencies.

Knowing this, the church handles homosexuality somewhat differently.
