"Just take your thoughts in the last week, the last day, or even the last hour about anyone you know, and if I could project them onto a screen for everyone to see, you would run out of the room in shame."
That's unlikely. I don't shame easily. It helps when you don't give a damn what other people think of you. While you may need your little flock of like minded sheep to accept you so that you have some sort of identity, I don't. If you, or anyone else, don't like what I'm thinking then tough shit.
"We are ALL like that."
Not ALL of us, pal. Seems that it's mostly the religious that are so worried about what people may think of them. I'd guess it comes from the paranoid belief that your deity knows everything you think and everything you do and is just waiting for the chance to pounce on your ass for the slightest infraction and toss your sorry butt into the fires of hell.
"And we have ALL offended God."
Possibly. Then again if he's so offended he knows where to find me to let me know. He is, after all, omniscient.
"If that doesn't bring you to tears then you have NO idea about how Holy God is!"
Yeah, either that or I don't have guilt and paranoia from years of religious indoctrination.
