[Actually, the post in question is a goldmine of fundie nonsense writ large, but I've selected this excerpt for everyone's attention ... this one post by this individual could keep FSTDT going for months]
If evolution were true then death would have entered the world long before Adam and eve showed up. Whereas the Bible tells us that death didn't enter the world until after Adam and Eve were banished from the garden of eden.

Oh my word !
Where do I start...?
Now, what if...
And bear with me here....
what if The Bible... The Holy Bible itself...
Were wrong? Or perhaps mistaken?
~!~!~!~!~~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~@!!@~!@##$%$%^^&&*)(*&$@~!~!~!~!~
But God IS deceptive! He put those fossils there to prove something that didn't happen!
~!~!~!~~~!~!$#@$#$#$#$#$#$#$@!@!@~~!~!~!!
So Satan did, and Satan is more powerful than God Himself?
~!~!~!~!!!!!!!
Maybe you should worship Satan then.
~!~!~!~!~!~!~!~!!!!!!!!!!!!~~~~~~~~~~~~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Idiot.
Some who don't understand can be taught.
Some who don't understand can be reasoned with.
Some who don't understand can be helped to understand.
Some who don't understand can be made to understand.
But those who have no intention of understanding are the fundies.
The bible doesn't say that there was no death before A&E were banished from eden. It says that A&E needed to ingest living cells in order to maintain their status as 'alive'. Cells that were alive, but died (as in death') in their digestive systems. You don't even know what your own holy book says. Go read it before you make another stupid claim based on nothing but your own dogma.
And that right there, despite all the fundie denials to the contrary, is why fundies have a problem with evolution. You can throw out all their arguments about what constitutes science, "doubts" about evolutionary evidence, etc.... all of those are mere cover for this. But admitting to this as their problem proves they are zealous wingnuts who prefer ancient mythology to reality.
Yo stupid, you only have your silly book as 'proof' of when life began. And since life began millions of years ago, not 6000 years ago (or is that 4000, or 10,000) and the dinos died out.. Oops there's death!
"If" evolution were true then it would negate your Bible... Evolution is true therefore...
Do you think they will ever take the next step? Spartan06, you are on the edge of an epiphany!
Paul said death entered the world through Adam and Eve. But that's not what it says in Genesis. In fact, the garden contained a Tree of Life that granted immortality, and Adam and Eve were kicked out to keep them from eating from it. Why would God make a tree that granted immortality if everyone was immortal anyway? Two possibilities:
(a) Paul is full of it (always my favorite ...), or
(b) He was speaking of spiritual death and the loss of everlasting life in heaven, which basically agrees with the Christian idea that Christ opened heaven back up for mankind.
@sam, only needed for the 'Faith & Religion' portion of the site.
Long ass post, though. I'll mirror it.

Complete with BB formatting, but, no markup on it, so... have fun making sense of it. ><
tipical... fear of death, the only reason this guys refuge in the dream of a holy land and a rapture... the truth is, whatever comes after, if anything, we will never know
If evolution were true
Which evidence says it is.
then death would have entered the world long before Adam and eve showed up
There was no-one called Adam or Eve, but the first members of genus Homo . And there were mass extinctions, and less celebrated extinctions of individual species for hundreds of millions of years before that. Each individual died as surely as it was born.
Whereas the Bible tells us that death didn't enter the world until after Adam and Eve were banished from the garden of eden.
Bzzzzzt! Sorry, wrong answer. This "perfect" text has made a big boo-boo, and it's "in the beginning."
"And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever: Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken."
- Genesis 3:22-23 (KJV)
So according to the bible (which you clearly haven't read thoroughly) death already existed before the banishment. Adam and Eve were exiled because, now that they knew death would come, they were in a position to do something about it. This frightened your god so much that it needed to so something to prevent it.
Come on back the next time you need a lesson in your religion.
Confused?
