['I watch porn and I still know the difference between fantasy and reality. I don't feel any desire to rape anyone, nor do value women any less than I did in the past.']

Ah but my argument is that pornography screws up peoples sex drives principally by objectifying sex its self and making it emotionally distant. I never said that would turn your average Joe in to a rapist. But at the right time in the right atmosphere it's a small step than most think from a degree of emotional detachment from sex to rapist.

The fact that porn is inherently harmful to the individual is argument enough to ban it with out invoking secondary affects on others.

Sin, weather it be porn, the sex industry more generally or even drugs, Makes victims out of both the consumers, purveyors and producers. It's just they don't always notice that.

I'm quite comfortable with the notion of imposing tho shalt not kill on others. Were lot talking about you sing your services in Latin and us in Greek or anything like that. My primary objection to this is it's not really going to help, targeting those addicted to internet porn. It probably will be applied to stuff that it shouldn't. It probably will expand to cover stuff like terrorist web sites with beheadings on them. I have no objections to attempts to quash the porn industry in general though.

The evolution theory has been made so people can either believe in God or not and still have the same theory, so the existence of God is irrelevant. It is not based on reality, but on the wish that there isn't a God that we're accountable to. Which is why I think it's strange for Christians to accept this theory, since it's underlying purpose is to destroy the need for God.
