Faithful Word Baptist Church #fundie #homophobia faithfulwordbaptist.org

Doctrinal Statement
We believe that the King James Bible is the word of God without error.
We believe that salvation is by grace through faith. Being born again by believing on the Lord Jesus Christ is the only requirement for salvation.
We believe in the eternal security of the believer (once saved, always saved).
We believe in baptism by immersion in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. We reject sprinkling, pouring, and "Jesus only" baptism.
We believe that the unsaved will spend eternity in torment in a literal hell.
We believe that Jesus is God, and that Jesus Christ was conceived of the Holy Ghost and born of the virgin Mary. We believe that God consists of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, and that these three are one (1 John 5:7). The Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost are three distinct persons (John 1:1, 1 Corinthians 15:27-28, John 8:16-18, John 17:5). This doctrine is commonly known as the trinity. We reject the heresy of modalism or so-called "oneness."
We believe only in the local church and not in a universal church.
We reject the teaching of Calvinism and believe that God wants everyone to be saved.
We believe that the rapture will take place after the tribulation but before God pours out his wrath on this earth. We reject dispensationalism.
We believe that life begins at conception (fertilization) and reject all forms of abortion including surgical abortion, "morning-after" pills, IVF (In Vitro Fertilization), birth control pills, and all other processes that end life after conception.
We believe that homosexuality is a sin and an abomination which God punishes with the death penalty.
We oppose worldliness, modernism, formalism, and liberalism.

PSA [Pastor Steven Anderson]: A national holiday was proclaimed in honor of MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. Starting on October 8, 1983 there were debates on the senate floor about the King Holiday. And let me just point out to you the word “holiday” means “Holy Day”. That’s what holiday means. Do we need a holy day for MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR.? I mean does this man sound like he was a holy man? And in these debates there were of course people who brought out all the smut and the filth and all the 64 thousand pages that the senate had received, and then the other side basically just said: “Well how dare you run this smear campaign.” Just want to just ignore the facts of all of this filth and smut that was proven by hard evidence and of course the King Holiday came about why? Because of the fact that if you don’t like Dr. King you’re a racist! And by the way, if you don’t like Obama, you’re also a racist! (Congregation: “Right!”) I mean that’s what these people believe, don’t they? People will just try to tell you “Shut up about MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. you vicious racist” I do not have a racist bone in my body. Anyone who knows me can verify that.

But yet you're called a racist for criticizing Obama, for criticizing MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR., we’re just judging people on the content of their character folks! (Congregation: “Right!”) Nothing to do with color! People who don't have any facts want to make it about color, and play that race card. (Congregation: “Yeah!”) Now listen, I grew up in Christian school, and I went to a lot of different Christian schools, Baptist schools, and none of them ever gave us the day off for MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. day and we never complained about it one time. Because our parents taught us that that holiday was something we do not observe as Christians because he was a wicked false prophet and an adulterer and a communist and when I was growing up, MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR. was known in my house as “Marxist Lucifer King”. That’s how he was referred to in my house. Marxist because was a communist, Lucifer because he was of the devil. The bible says that Satan’s ministers are transformed into ministers of light.

If music without drums, syncopation, or a rock beat is acceptable music, then “Yesterday” by the Beatles would be suitable for a Christian. This song has no drums, syncopation, or rock n roll beat – so what’s wrong with it? It doesn’t talk about drugs, illicit behavior, or violence – so what’s wrong with it? What’s wrong with it is the source. It was written by God-hating communist devils. Rock n roll music was pioneered by ungodly sinners like Little Richard, a sodomite filthy animal, and Ray Charles, a heroin addict. The source of rock n roll music is ungodly.

I am against head-coverings on women for two reasons:

1. I am against head-coverings because they associate you with the wrong crowd spiritually. Every church or pastor I have ever seen or known that taught that women were commanded to wear head-coverings was wrong on the Gospel. I have never seen or heard of a church that taught that women must wear head-coverings that believed that salvation was by faith alone. The churches and teachers promoting head-coverings on women teach a works-based salvation in one of the following forms:

- some teach you can lose your salvation
- some teach you must repent of your sins in order to be saved
- some teach you must surrender your life to Christ in order to be saved
- some teach Calvinist doctrines of "grace" which teach that if you don't have works, you aren't saved, and that God is the one who chooses who will be saved and who will be damned (TULIP).

The Bible on the other hand states that salvation is by faith alone:

Rom 4:5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.
Rom 4:6 Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,
Rom 4:7 Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.
Rom 4:8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

I have never seen or heard of any church that preached Bible salvation that taught women to wear head-coverings. Therefore, wearing a head-covering will lump you in with unsaved false teachers such as the Amish, Pentecostals, etc.

Eph 5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

1Thess 5:22 Abstain from all appearance of evil.

2. I am against head-coverings because they are not modest apparel. Yes, you got that right, I said that they are not modest apparel:

1Tim 2:9 In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;
1Tim 2:10 But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.

The word "modest" in these verses is often misinterpreted to only mean "not revealing" or "not promiscuous." However, there is nothing revealing or promiscuous about broided hair, gold, or pearls. This passage is telling ladies not to dress in a way that draws attention to themselves. Their good works should be what stand out, not their appearance, clothing, hair, or jewelry. Instead of a "Christian uniform," it should be the good works of Christian ladies that stand out to the world.

mod?est
[mod-ist]
?adjective
1.having or showing a moderate or humble estimate of one's merits, importance, etc.; free from vanity, egotism, boastfulness, or great pretensions.

Women who wear head-coverings or Amish-looking dresses are doing so in order to purposely look different and stand out. There are many beautiful and stylish dresses for women to wear that are very modest and and not revealing whatsoever, but that do not purposely draw attention and cry out, "Look at me! Look how 'modest' I am!" Purposely drawing attention to yourself is neither modesty nor humility!

Ladies are commanded by the Bible to have long hair. They are not commanded to wear an external head covering of any kind. If they do wear one, people will probably associate them with religions that preach a false Gospel.

he Bible uses the word “breeches” to refer to pants. Our modern day spelling of this word is britches, such as in the expression, “he is a little too big for his britches.” Here are several mentions from the Bible of men wearing britches (pants):

“And thou shalt make them linen breeches to cover their nakedness; from the loins even unto the thighs they shall reach:” – Exodus 28:42

According to this verse, the priests needed to wear pants in order to cover their nakedness (their loins and their thighs). The coats or robes that they wore in addition were outer garments worn on the upper body. They did not cover their loins and their thighs completely which is why pants were needed. The pants in Exodus 28:42 went down to the knees.

Many people today have the idea that Jesus Christ while he was on this earth had long hair and wore clothing that looked like a dress. The reason for this is that many people derive what they believe from artwork or the opinions of so-called “theologians” and “scholars” instead of getting their information directly from the Bible itself. First of all, the Bible makes it clear that it is a sin for a man to have long hair:

“But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head.” – 1 Corinthians 11:3, 4

“Judge in yourselves: is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered? Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him? But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.” – 1 Corinthians 11:13-15

According to verse 15, the “covering” referred to is long hair. Therefore, according to this passage, it is a shame and dishonor to Christ for a man to have long hair. There is no place in the Bible that even insinuates that Jesus had long hair. Sodomite homosexuals such as Michelangelo painted Jesus to look effeminate and to have long hair in order to make him fit their own queer image.

These same type of paintings have also given people the idea that “Jesus did not wear pants.” Some have even made utterly ridiculous and bizarre statements such as, “pants had not been invented yet,” or “they didn’t have pants back then.” According to these “scholars,” the men of the past who built the pyramids and Stonehenge just hadn’t thought of pants yet!

What I believe is based upon the Bible, not “historical evidence,” but the historical record also proves that men in the ancient Middle East wore pants. For example, at the famous battle of Thermopylae (480BC), every historian reports that the Persian (Iranian) soldiers were wearing pants down to their ankles, while the homosexual, perverted Spartans were wearing short skirts or even less!

Are male gynecologists professionals or perverts?

Jeremiah 17:9 reads, “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” What kind of a man would go into a profession of examining women’s private parts? Don’t tell me that he is not made of the same sinful flesh that every other man is made of. No man can look at pornographic images and not be affected. This is why God commands us repeatedly to set no wicked thing before our eyes.

Because of years and years of looking at and touching scores of women inappropriately, the male gynecologist no doubt has a seared conscience and a perverted mind (I will not go into detail of what goes on in the doctor’s office for decency’s sake, but any woman who has been there knows what I am referring to.). His view of women and the marital bed has certainly been warped by his indecent involvement with countless women.

May God help preachers in this generation to make the Bible their authority, not tradition, and call this ungodly practice what it really is – sin. Any doctor that looks upon and touches a woman’s private parts in his office “hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.” Sir, if you let your wife go to a male gynecologist, you need to get right with God

From the beginning, the producers of television have had an agenda. Even in the most “harmless” of shows, alternative lifestyles are being promoted. Consider, for example, “The Andy Griffith Show.” The show centers around a single parent who lives with his aunt. Admittedly, his wife supposedly died, and he is not divorced. However, we are still being desensitized to the idea of a single parent which is neither the norm nor God’s plan. The show also features a character, Gomer Pile, who is played by a man who is a homosexual in real life.

Consider the show “The Odd Couple” from the 1960’s. Aside from sinful content, we are being exposed to an alternative lifestyle of two men living together as roommates. Genesis 2:24 tells us God’s normal plan, “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.” Although neither man in the show is a homosexual, this show was obviously a forerunner of the sitcoms of today which feature homosexual characters.

Consider “The Brady Bunch.” The show is about a widowed man and a widowed woman who have three children each. Now they are married and have six children collectively. This is an extremely rare scenario but mirrors the very common scenario of divorce and remarriage. We are subliminally being exposed to the idea of stepparents and stepchildren which is far more common in divorced situations than in the rare circumstance of young widows.

I am not a fool. Don’t tell me that Sodom is not on the TV because it is. I mean, don’t tell me that there is a prime time show that doesn’t have these filthy sodomite queer characters, because it does.  I remember when I was in high school.  I was 17 years old. The show came out Ellen.
Ellen, the first...was going to be the first lesbian sitcom. It was ripped off the air. That was in 1999.  That was 1998 or whatever it was.  They ripped it off the air.  And they said, “No.  People couldn’t handle it.”
Twelve months later it was back on the air.  And twelve months after that, every prime time show had sodomite characters.  That’s how fast it happened.
And I don’t know all the details of what is on TV.  I couldn’t even name the shows for you.  You know, I could maybe name a few that I have heard about, but I couldn’t really name all the shows. I mean, I don’t really know what they are.  But I promise you it is just filled with, with sodomy.  I promise you it is just filled with gays and lesbians and freakos.  I promise you.
And you know what?  Even if it is not...
You say, “Well, I don’t watch that stuff.  I just watch the weather. I just watch the cooking channel.”
Those guys cooking on the cooking channel are a bunch of queers.  You know they are.
“Oh, you know, I just throw in a little bit of this.”
Good night.  Be a man.
“Oh, I just like...I just watch the home decorating show.”
Oh, good night.  What’s that guys name? This guy was on when I was a teenager.  Christopher Lowell.  And who has ever heard of that guy?  Is that what his name is?  I got the name right?  Christopher Lowell. That gay little piece of trash.  I would like to beat the fire out of him.

["Television: the Leaven of the Pharisees"]

Many Christians do not watch TV, cable, or satellite programming but restrict themselves to Disney videos, cartoons, and the like. However, one of the major problems with these seemingly harmless videos is that most of the actors and voices in these movies are the same as those in other far more wicked movies. Therefore, from the youngest age our children are being programmed to enjoy the voices of Eddie Murphy, Robin Williams, Whoopi Goldberg, Tom Hanks, and other Hollywood reprobates.

If you can see what is wrong with the above examples from forty years ago, you probably do not need me to go into what is wrong with the themes found in today’s television programming.

[Going to the doctor is apparently evil]

I have not been to the doctor in years. I think I am going on about three years now since I have been to the doctor. Praise the Lord. You know, I went to the doctor three years ago because I got a really bad bronchial infection, you know, bronchitis. I think you had that recently. I had bronchitis and I had to...and I struggled with it for like a month just trying to get over it. It was not going anywhere, you know, so I had to go and get the antibiotics and get over that.

There is a time when you are forced to go to the doctor. But let me tell you something, going to the doctor is not a positive thing. Going to the doctor is not the end all, be all. Going to the doctor can actually be a negative thing. Did you know that? I am going to show you that in the Bible a little bit further. But going to the doctor is a negative thing. You should only use the doctor as a last resort. This is just wisdom from the Bible.

Well, then why were people in the Bible days living to be 120 years old? Tell me that. Why was Moses 123 years old as he died if he was so medically stupid.

Pastor Steven L. Anderson #fundie faithfulwordbaptist.org

It is time that preachers and Baptist people take a stand against the Sodomite freaks and turn off the television that tries to shove their perversion down our throat. God help a generation of Christians that does not think that homosexuality is “that bad.” We need a revival of old-fashioned righteous indignation and hatred for sin and perverts.
