[In response to a post saying Christians aren't being persecuted, but they have a sense of entitlement on certain things and those are starting to be denied.]
It is not a sense of entitlement being violated when people get fired from their jobs because they have a copy of a Bible on their desk.
It is not a sense of entitlement being violated when they have their kids in school doing a 'Winter Festival' series of plays (that used to be called a 'Christmas Pageant') and the songs sung mention all kinds of holidays and religious people but not one song mentions Christmas or Jesus.

Firstly, you can not be fired from your job in the United States for having a copy of the Bible on your desk. There is one individual who claimed this happened, but what he was actually fired for was neglecting his duties to spend large amounts of time during the day evangelizing his co-workers. He was fired for not doing his damn job, not for having a Bible on his desk, but he claimed that his boss just hated Christians. The case was thrown out of court.include everyone, not to exclude Christians. Christians do not own late December, you know. This is the "sense of entitlement" you denied exists.
Thirdly, if a school has adopted a non-religious theme for the Christmas holidays, I guarantee you that all religious mentions have been removed, not just Christian ones.
Fourthly, what "PC activities" are you referring to that go against Christian beliefs? Am I to believe that there are corporations in the US that are requiring their employees to participate in orgies and blood sacrifices at the company picnic? What "PC activities" are you referring to? Such a nebulous claim is meaningless. And a "homosexual equal rights statement?" No such thing exists. Some companies have required their employees to sign a pledge of non-discrimination, which would include sexual orientation, but how much of a dick do you have to be to refuse to not discriminate against your fellow workers? If I had a guy on my payroll who essentially told me to my face that he believed a co-worker was beneath him and that he would not accord this other worker equal rights and respect, I would fire his ass in a picosecond. You can't have people working in a team environment who have essentially declared a cold war on another employee. That's just bad business.

One, nobody has been fired for getting a copy of the Bible on their desks. If they hand it out in hotels, your statement is absurd. What has happened is that they have fired people for putting Bibles in people´s desk and harrasing them, or using the Bible as an excuse not to work. Not for the Bible itself. Second, they can say Merry Christmas whenever they want. Only that some stores, as they don´t know at the time if the person who goes shopping is Christian or not, and if they by the items accordingly, they´re encouraged to say "happy holidays", it´s a matter of BUSINESS, what part of it don´t you understand?. The same goes for the last statement. Their mates in school, more often than not, are Jewish and non-Christians and, consequently, they INCLUDE their own traditions, not exclude Christianity. And finally, homosexuals are people too, their supposed "right" ends where the others' begin.
The fundie mission is to infect the entire world with teh stoopids. No citizen is required, or even obliged, to listen to any self-styled evangelist zombie.
There's this gem from later in the thread (someone else): There is a reason why the Fathers created the doctrine of separation of church and state -- which was NOT to have no public religions and thus deny a voice to religious groups, but to block persecution of religious groups by government. NOT to prevent religions from influencing government, but to prevent government from influencing religions -- by means of criminalizing specific religions and relgious doctrines and rituals.
