"What do you think of me saying there is no such thing as atheism?"
Hey, if you want to look like a fool don't let me stand in the way.
"Look, there is agnostic, but not atheism."
Well, this should be interesting.
"Why you ask?
Well atheist always say " there is no proof of god, of jesus and there is no proof of a heaven or hell when you die, and you cant say there is because you haven't died""
Well, technically I say there's no evidence because I know how science works. Other than that, you're essentially right. Of course it goes for every other religion too.
"So i say this: HAVE YOU DIED? DO YOU HAVE PROOF THERE IS NO GOD? NO AFTERLIFE? NO JESUS? NO HELL, OR HEAVEN???"
No, I haven't personally been dead. Nor have I ever met anyone who has been for any significant period of time. Of the second hand stories I've heard being dead is a lot like being unconscious -- i.e., nothing.
Other than that, since I see no evidence of any of the other things you mention nor do I see any reason to believe that your particular brand of insanity is any better than that of someone else I simply default to not believing it. Much like I default to not believing unicorns exist in my garage for much the same reason.
"HOW DO YOU KNOW??"
I don't. And neither do you. Your claims about all of these things are, however, completely without any supporting evidence that isn't anecdotal, subjective, unverifiable or otherwise invalid. Therefor disbelief is the only reasonable position to take or else I'd have to believe every oddball claim that came along that had just as much "evidence" to it.
"I HAVE HAD ALOT OF EVIDENCE THERE IS, SEEN SPIRITS, ETC."
Subjective.
"DO YOU HAVE EVIDENCE THERE ISN'T??"
It doesn't work that way sparky. You're making the claim. The onus is on you to back it up, not me to disprove you.
"so either you believe or DONT KNOW FOR SURE!!!!"
Sure, in a semantically roundabout way I can agree with that. Though I think you'll find most atheists will agree to it. You'll find very few strong atheists who absolutely deny the existence of any deity at all or even the possibility of one.
I, personally, do not know for certain no deities exist. I do know that all "evidence" I've seen would seem to indicate that none exist so that's the position I take until some evidence comes along to change my mind.
