(commenting on story “NY Gov. Cuomo: ‘Worship Services’ Are ‘Canceled,’ According to Guidance Document”):

DEX:
Did this New York clown have to study the United States Constitution at any point in his privileged upbringing? Perhaps he stopped reading it when he got to the 1st Amendment. Didn't know that right to celebrate one's faith was abridged by a contagion.

Travis Kingston:
Boy, keeping people from dying isn’t really high on your list of priorities, is it?

Mister Peabody:
Did you text this while standing in a food line?

Travis Kingston:
What gives you the impression I'm the one fighting against social distancing measures? No I am not in a food line.

Mister Peabody:
Well good, then we are both on the same page. I find it curious that people in NY are crowded into buses, subways, grocery stores and other stores but Christians are not capable of practicing responsible social distancing on their own in small groups in own their homes. That is insulting to our faith and intelligence and smacks of religious bigotry in that we are responsible for your health. If you are so concerned about your own health that you have to resort to religious bigotry then I would suggest that you hole up in your bedroom with your PlayStation, have someone buy your food for you and then have mommy slide it under the door.

Travis Kingston:
It's a really silly excuse for some to say Christians' rights are being squashed because they temporarily can't get together for worship. Look how many churches went virtual. Not the same thing but you adapt in times of crisis.

Mister Peabody:
So as a non Christian you get to tell us how we should worship God if we do it practicing social distancing better than being cramped into buses or trains? You smack of bigotry. It drools off your keyboard.

Travis Kingston:
I'm just trying to ensure you can stay alive to do it in the future, pal. Since you clearly need to be protected from yourself. I believe the phrase you're looking for is "thank you". No one's taking away your right to practice your religion.

Mister Peabody:
Well thank you. Your heart is in the right place. Mine is too because I’m more concerned for your eternal life than worrying about mine here. You may not believe it but it is the truth. As for not taking away our practice to worship God, a federal judge just declared that Kansas cannot restrict persons so congregating. So yes, it is happening and you will likely see this go to SCOTUS. But again, thank you for your heartfelt concern. Although you likely don’t believe in the power of prayer, I will pray (and ask others here as well) that God reveal His love for you in an undeniable way. If you ever have a specific prayer request, I would be glad to add that to the list.

Travis Kingston:
The whole reason they don't want them CONGREGATING is so they don't need to worry about the EFFECTS of a GLOBAL PANDEMIC, but this is a lesson you clearly need to learn the hard way.

Mister Peabody:
Praying for ya.
