Homophobia..... has nothing on Christianphobia!
The religious hatred currently being shown by many secularist liberals and gay rights supporters and campaigners especially towards Christians is appalling. It's ironic for a group of people who claim to know what it was like to be persecuted are now the persecutors, Except their venom and hatred is a 100 times more than anything ever shown to them as far as I can see.

...the long war on Christianity in America continues today on the floor of the House of Representatives and continues unabated with aid and comfort to those who would eradicate any vestige of our Christian heritage being supplied by the usual suspects, the Democrats.
-- Rep. John Hostettler (R-IN)
Yes, the long war on Christianity. I pray that one day we may live in an America where Christians can worship freely! In broad daylight! Openly wearing the symbols of their religion.... perhaps around their necks? And maybe -- dare I dream it? -- maybe one day there can be an openly Christian President. Or, perhaps, 43 of them. Consecutively.

Right, because Christianity can't function as a religon unless they have a minority group to persecute. It's not like treat unto others as you would want them treat unto you and peace on Earth, good will to man isn't in your doctrine. Oh wait it is.
There is just a minimal difference. Some Christians, not all, they understand, hate homosexuals FOR NO GOOD REASON. They hate, sometimes, because of the insane reasonless persecution they suffer.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Poor persecuted Christians. Not getting to stomp on the rights of others is not persecution.
"Except their venom and hatred is a 100 times more than anything ever shown to them as far as I can see."
Well, therein lies the rub, eh? At least part of the problem is your limited vision. You can't see past your own persecution complex to recognize the real persecution of others.
The above pie chart stole my words and made them into a gorgeous work of art.
Anyone care to discuss genocide, torture, exile, and other such historical events?
Hadanelith, it wasn't easy, bloody archives.
That's why I always save potentially useful material for future use when I find some, much easier to retrieve when you need it.
Now, jokes aside, the problem with this guys is the yardstick they use, chosen by a long tradition of having Christianity as default(at least until 50 years ago). They can´t see what´s wrong with despising homosexuals, because they think it´s their duty to hate them and a very tiny majority considers even that mobbing against them is ok, but, in their case, any minute decrease of priviledges, they see it as an attack. I mean, they want freedom of religion, only that for them freedom of religion means freedom to exercise and impose my religion at the expense of others. They consider it from their perspective only, consider the possible prejudiced against as "the other", in most cases, or "it´s not that bad", in the best case.
Yeah, because there are all those gay people running around beating up straights, and straight people cannot get married, and straight people have been subject to imprisonment and execution by gay people over the centuries. Oh, wait, none of that ever happened . Asshat.
It's true. Gangs of gays roam around looking for Christians to beat up, secure in the knowledge that they have nothing to fear from the law, since most police, prosecutors, and jurors are also gay and virulently Christianphobic.
Christian: You're an abomination agianst god and you'll burn in hell for all of eternity. But I still love you just like Christ would!
Gay Atheist: Eh I don't believe in God really, when and if I ever adopt a child I think I'll let them deside there own beliefs instead of pushing anything on them they don't understand.
Christian: You're not going to make them Christian!? *gasp* YOUR PERSECUTING A POTENTIAL FOLLOWER OF CHRIST HENCEFORTH THE ENTIRE RELIGION!!!! HOW COULD YOU SAY SUCH HORRID THINGS ABOUT ME AND MY BELIEFS!?!?!

Aside from that, Boy The problem with your Comic is that Gerald Gardner did not start Wicca he simply organised a doctrine of beliefs he'd observed and fell for in particular. Basically he simply decribed his own form of Wicca. Basically he was to Wicca almost any fundimentalist Christian is when they put there own beliefs as fact only in this sence for paganism.
Had to point that out because everybody who reads wikipedia thinks they know the entire history of a particular set of beliefs.
"Claim" to know what it's like to be persecuted? You cunt! How dare you!
Gays during the holocaust were tormented even worse than the Jews. So much that many tried to paste yellow Jewish star badges over their pink triangle badges.
You actually have the nerve to say you're persecuted here in America? People like you should be shipped off to Kim Jong Il's concentration camp in Hueryong. There you can be overworked, starved, beaten, injected with disease, and poison gassed. That'll show you what real persecution is.
Confused?
