Reasons People are Atheists:

Pride. Some people are atheists because they feel too much pride. Acknowledging God exists would mean that they are no longer the smartest being in the Universe, and that might shock their system if they have placed themselves on a pedestal of superiority. It’s also possible that belief in a higher power seems too cheesy for them, and they think are above “the people that need it.”
