The condemned likely killed again and again until restrained in prison. He should have spent his time on death row on the productive activity of being water boarded to solve all the murders he committed.

Yes, let's get rid of defence lawyers and pre-emptively execute anybody charged with a really serious crime. That way, when the police screw up and arrest the wrong guy, there will be nobody to stop him from being needlessly killed. Sounds great!

How dare you name yourself after a part of the Constitution? Let me remind you of the text of the Sixth Amendment:
"In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed , which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defence .
When telling people you're a "Constitutionalist," it's wise to have read the document first.

You do know that the Constitution calls for all accused to have legal representation, don't you? Maybe you should look up Gideon v. Wainwright .
I'm sure if you're ever arrested for a crime you'll forgo any & all legal representation, won't you? Or will you run to a lawyer the very first chance you have?

Or maybe they're motivated by a sense of proper justice and seek to prevent the kind of kangaroo court vigilante justice you and others like you want to mete out.

Well, seeing as the only source of the drugs/chemicals used in lethal injections - Europe - had dried up due to a ban on sales of the relevant compounds to the US, and the supply is running out there, I guess you're right, Inferiority Clause.

Criminal lawyers who defend people they know are guilty are filth but that's no reason to wish their death. They are doing their job.
I am in favor of the death penalty for murderers mainly when it's been confirmed with out a doubt that they are the killed. Even one innocent man or woman being put to death for a crime they did not commit is one too many.
I'm against the death penalty precisely because of bloodthirsty goons like these people.
It's an emotional reaction which has no place in justice, which is supposed to be purely logical.
Have I ever wished someone dead for their crimes? Absolutely. However, it's still a reaction born out of pure emotion.
Dangerous people can be kept from the populace with life imprisonment, where they at least still have a voice.
Because fun fact: A culture with seemingly extravagant prisons and no death penalty actually has LESS crime because they know that it's about REFORMATION, not PUNISHMENT.

It's shit like this that makes me fear for my fellow students who'll be entering the criminal defense world. I think I've seen like three or four stories this year about criminal defense lawyers being gunned down.
Every criminal defendant is entitled to effective counsel. The lawyers who do it are largely underpaid (many are public defenders or small firm practitioners). A good number do it because they believe in the Constitution and are dedicated to ensuring that the State/Government cannot eviscerate a defendant's rights.
Don't call them filth. Each and every one is upholding the Constitution. And creativerealms, the Model Rules of Professional Responsibility (Rule 3.1) provide that in criminal cases, a defendant is entitled to force the State to prove its burden (beyond a reasonable doubt) as to every element of the offense. If the defendant does not want to plead guilty (and frankly, most criminal cases plead out), it's the state's problem, not the defense attorney's, to establish the defendant's guilt.
Considering our track record with death row inmates being proven innocent post execution, I don't think we should have a death penalty at all. Not to mention, killing the inmate does not undo the crime, not to mention execution is more expensive then life in prison.
I am not in favour of killing anyone. Even a convicted war criminal. As much as I condemn the "gang in blue" for murdering people, I would not support killing them. As much as I condemn corrupt judges, the judge who presided over his trial was merely upholding the Constitution, and even if se were corrupt I would not support killing sem either. An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind.
