The firmament is (biblically) a solid dome, separating the Water Above from Earth. And rain comes from the Water Above leaking through the firmament when God opens little windows in it.

Well, let me ask you something. Do you use tech such as GPS? Because if you do, how do you think such things are even possible without sattelites in orbit? The Firmament is not a thing, and NASA are far from the only ones to prove that.

Then…what about the 134 other shuttle flights that didn’t break up during launch*? The six Mercury missions, ten Gemini missions, nineteen Apollo missions (counting Skylab and ASTP), and hundreds of Russian flights with human beings aboard? And the literally thousands of uncrewed satellites and probes that have been launched since 1957? Why didn’t “passing through the firmament” destroy them? Why Challenger out of all of those?
*-Columbia was also destroyed, but it didn’t break up during launch; it disintegrated during reentry due to a hole in one of the thermal protection panels on its left wing.
They killed JFK after he had the audacity to get skeptical about them. They forced Nixon to resign because he created a distraction (the Watergate scandal) to make people try to move on from his fraudulent moon landing schemes. They killed those 7 people on the Challenger by sending them up into space thinking God won't care if His terrority is invaded, and trying to lead people to think there is no Firmament. The Moon landings were fake movies directed by Stanley Kubrick and commissioned by President Dick the Crook. The Mercury missions were a lie because there is no Mercury. The Solar System doesn't exist. There is only the Earth, the Heaven, the Firmament, the Sun, Moon, and Stars. Columbia didn't actually go into space. They gave up and turned around but it was too late. The Van Allan Radiation Belt fried it instantly. NASA is the world's worst terrorist organization ever in the world.
