USA needs to stop playing "world police" because other nations learned how to trick us for their own objectives. Easy to confirm that Zelensky is from a Russian family. His native language is Russian. He will bring Ukraine to the Kremlin in Moscow where he will preside over USSR 2.0 as Putin retires. Only a Russian comedian could pull off that joke on USA/NATO.

It’s not a very good trick. Unless I missed something, the Ukrainian Army has never attacked Russia on its own soil aside from firing missiles and/or shells at a few military depots just outside the border; otherwise it’s been purely about defense or reclaiming occupied territory. If they manage to do that, then that’s when the aid would dry up and exactly how are they going to conquer Russia with what they have left?
It would also require Ukraine’s attempt to join the EU to be a sham since the EU really doesn’t go for conquest.
Or if you’re saying that losing the war will cause Putin to be assassinated (which might happen) and what remains of the Russian government will then pick Zelenskyy as Putin’s successor? Because ha ha ha no.
Also Zelenskyy was born in Ukraine. He was technically born as a Soviet citizen, not Russian.
[Edit] I later did a quick check on his parents. His father worked for a Soviet mining company based out of Russia at one point, but he, too, was born in Ukraine. Wasn’t able to find much about his mother.

Still possible (I’m not doing the research myself) that Zelesnsky’s family is ethnic Russian, there are a number of such families in Ukraine. Some of those are hardline Russian Empire supporters, but most it seems, not so much. A lot of other countries in that area have the same issue, a lot of ethnic Russians, growing up speaking Russian even today.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy is from a Jewish Ukrainian family, though his native language was actually Russian, which was perfectly common even among Ukrainians in Ukraine until recently (and still is to some extent).
Sure, that's why he's been fighting them ferociously for nearly two years. Putin's actual pawn got run out and Zelenskyy was elected in his place. Putin invaded partially because he no longer had a subservient satellite.
&KZadBhat: Friend of mine is married to a Ukrainian woman whose dad was a Red Army officer. They lived in Donets and fled to Kyiv when the separatist fighting started.
So, after Zelensky managed to develop and exalt Ukrainian nationalism against Russia, he would become a quisling, join the Russian Federation and led it. Even Lukachenko didn’t manage to have Belarus join Russia.
Oh how clueless of you. Slavic names are very similar, and their languages are so similar, that a Ukrainian man I know says that he can understand people speaking not only Russian, but also Polish. Zelenskiy certainly would be able speak Russian, and need to… and the joke’s on you.
