Russia has displaced millions of anti Russians
I’m not sure if it’s gotten up to “millions” yet as the scope of this is currently largely unknown, but sadly there’s evidence of people in the occupied areas being deported and then replaced by pro-Russian citizens, which sets up a revolt against the Ukrainian government further down the line even if Russia otherwise loses completely.
Russia has destroyed much of Ukraine
Ignoring, you know, the whole war crime aspect: Not that useful given that much of the world has cut off Russia economically. Even Ukraine if is fully conquered, it will come at the cost of wrecking the country so badly that it will take a few decades to recover to the point where Russia gets any major economic benefit from this. If Russia remains an economic pariah at that point, it’s not clear that it will have been a net positive (I suspect not).

True, this happens during a war. To both sides. That being said, the losses on the Russian side are far greater…
