Liberals shriek like chimpanzees as Houston Zoo becomes gun-friendly.

If liberals don't trust their fellow citizens to carry guns, then they shouldn't trust their fellow citizens to vote, and they shouldn't vote, either. They should leave all decisions about their lives in the hands of government and embrace a nanny state that will take care of them, always be there to protect them, and tell them what to do.

For the rest of us, if you live or work around large groups of people, you may feel like putting the responsibility for your safety in your own hands.

To the gun folks, if some idiot shoots an animal, which I figure would be most likely in Texas of all places, I'm going to consider the argument for gun control officially won.

Don't think it's that likely, but if it happens we win.

You know, I wouldn’t even be surprised if a shot zoo animal would actually lead to some long overdue sane gun laws in the US. Strangely enough we as a species are apparently more concerned about members of others species (as long as they are cute) than about members of our own. Just look at that story about the lion shot by a hunter a few weeks ago.

I, for one, have little faith in a lot of voters. I mean, Trump is still at the top of the polls.

How the gun-nuts think it happens:
Guy pulls out a gun at the zoo, and starts shooting. Responsible, well-prepared, gun-carrying citizen patriots hear the shots, pull out their own weapons, and bring down the gunman.

What would actually happen:
Guy pulls out a gun at the zoo, and starts shooting. A bunch of gun-nuts hear the shots, pull out their own weapons, and look to see what's going on. They all look around for the gunman, and start shooting at the first person they see holding a gun. Police arrive to find many more gunshot victims, and a bunch of gun-waving folks. They tell everyone to put down their weapons, and at least one of them goes into a crazy rant about "the government stealing my gunzes!", leading to several cops opening fire on a crazed madman.

Also; Why are you so hell-bent on toting guns in zoos? Are you aspiring to be like that lion-killing dentist?

Has it ever occurred to you that western & action flicks are not documentaries? If you need thrills, have you ever considered taking up an extreme sport, bungee jumping, skydiving, hang-gliding or riding a cool thrill-ride at an amusement park?

Has it ever occurred to you to try to better human nature and teach people how to be peaceful and solve conflict without violence?

Has it ever occurred to you that being peaceful does NOT make you a wimpy weenie but instead....a strong REAL MAN due to the awesomeness of your manful self-control & intelligence? Machismo is sooooooo subhuman.

Has it occurred to you that Big Guns and their goons, the NRA are just using and manipulating you so they can have more money for their solid-gold whatever, fleet of Rolls Royce's & Ferraris and Wolf Of Wall Street-style coke & whore parties?
