Please remember that Obama is a "usurper" and will soon be tried in the Court for this.
Sure because a usurper gets 52.7% of the votes casted and 365 in the electoral college. But what has he done to be known as one?
A usurper is not considered to be a legitimate president and therefore, cannot be impeached.
Again what has he done to be considered a usurper to the courts? He's Dubya's successor, meaning he got the office after him. If he usurped it, that means he took it illegally.
This was actually the widest it's been in a while. Here are the percents between the Democrat and the Republican. Winner is underlined.
2008:
Obama (D) 52.7% and 365 electoral votes , McCain (R) 45.7% with 173
Difference of 7% and 192 electoral votes.
2004:
Bush (R) 50.7% with 286, Kerry (D) 48.3% with 251
Difference of 2.4% and 35 electoral.
2000:
Bush (R) 47.9% with 271, Gore (D) with 48.4 with 266
Difference of -0.5% and 5 electoral votes.
1996:
Clinton (D) with 49.2% and 379 and Dole (R) with 40.7% and 159
Difference of 8.5% and 220 electoral.
Now I can keep going on and on but the fact is that not since the 96 election had we had a margin like this. And don't say your pal Reagan had the widest in the popular, he didn't. Harding did in 1920, with 26.2% of the vote in 1920. So if anything it's closer to say that Bush usurped it from Gore, this is not correct either however.
