That's just the point. If the Earth would have just popped out of nowhere for no reason, I doubt that there actually would be a magnetic field around it that we humans could put to so much good use!
[Okay, I'm not even going to address the obvious here, because there is just so much wrong with this that my mind cannot fully comprehend, but let me ask you this, Dozer my boy, what exactly do you mean by humans putting the magnetic field of the earth "so much goo use?" I mean, sure, we have compasses, but navigation is only very slightly more difficult without them. Using the stars to navigate worked fine for a longass time.]
Tell me, do other planets of the solar system have those magnetic fields? No. Do the magnetic fields of the Earth serve any purpose for the Earth? No. There is a very big chance that they were put there so we can use them. Cause if we could not, it would not serve any purpose at all. Things of such a high calibur that exist with no meaning at all? Sorry, I don't by that crap.

Do the magnetic fields of the Earth serve any purpose for the Earth? No.
You mean except to keep your fundie ass from being fried by ionizing radiation? No, none at all that I can think of.
Behold, the anthropomorphic principle in action!
Places that aren't suitable for life to exist in won't have life-forms to whinge about it.
QED.
Things of such a high calibur (sic) that exist with no meaning at all? Sorry, I don't by (sic) that.
Fundies exist with no meaning at all, but you've got me on the high calibur bit.
"Tell me, do other planets of the solar system have those magnetic fields? No."
Actually, yes you ignorant moron. Some, such as Uranus and Neptune, even have a magnetic field that's running laterally rather than vertically.
"Do the magnetic fields of the Earth serve any purpose for the Earth? No."
Not unless you count deflecting the Solar Wind to be nothing important. Which you probably do since you don't have a fucking clue about anything else.
"There is a very big chance that they were put there so we can use them. Cause if we could not, it would not serve any purpose at all."
If it exists it must be there just for us to exploit, right?
"Things of such a high calibur that exist with no meaning at all? Sorry, I don't by that crap."
Everything in the observable universe save our little planet would appear to exist with no meaning. Earth appears to have meaning only because we happen to inhabit it.
Tell me, do other planets of the solar system have those magnetic fields?
Yes. All the other planets have them, and most are stronger than ours.
Tell me, do other planets of the solar system have those magnetic fields? No.
"Let me ask you a question, but I'm not going to give you a chance to answer before I pull something totally wrong out of my ass."
Tell me, do other planets of the solar system have those magnetic fields?
Yes.
Do the magnetic fields of the Earth serve any purpose for the Earth?
TBH, I don't know the answer to this one either.

Then you should be just fine with us telling you, "Sorry, we don't buy that Creationist crap."
"This puddle fits perfectly into this pothole - so the pothole must have been made precisely FOR this puddle!"
I forget who came up with that analogy (Douglas Adams, maybe?), but it's brilliant.

How do you know that these "things" exist without meaning? You clearly have no idea what you're talking about when you stated that other planets have no magnetic fields, when they do. So, it is safe to say that you are unknowledgeable when it comes to their meaningfulness. In other words, unless you know anything about a topic, STFU about it.
Obviously, it's meaningful to us because we're here! The planet Earth had the perfect environment(physically and chemically speaking) to have life start and evolve the way that it has.
I'm surprised no one addressed the strawman of the earth "popping out of nowhere for no reason". BTW, the magnetic field is the result of the rotating iron core, which is explained perfectly by the laws of physics.
"Tell me, do other planets of the solar system have those magnetic fields? No."
BZZZZT! Wrong. Many of the planets in this solar system have magnetic fields. For example, Jupiter has a magnetic field that is 10 times stronger than Earth's.
"Do the magnetic fields of the Earth serve any purpose for the Earth? No."
BZZZZT! Wrong again. Without our magnetic field this planet would be sterilized by all the radiation that big ball of light in the sky is bombarding us with at this very minute (among other sources in the universe).
Perhaps you should pay a little more attention in astronomy class, Dozer.
"Do the magnetic fields of the Earth serve any purpose for the Earth? No."
In that case, kill yourself, because YOU serve no purpose for the Earth. Here is proof of what 'Hoemskuling' can do t kids, as proved with Dozy & what he says. If you'd ever done physics at school, you'd know the Earth's magnetic field exists to prevent the cosmic rays & other radiation from the sun reducing this planet to a lifeless frazzle.
No amount of facepalming pics can display the amount of despair Dozy Bugger is making me feel right now. And he DARES to call himself an Anime fan?! I'm surprised he has a pic of Light (from Death Note) as an avatar; I doubt he has the intelligence to understand such a complex storyline the anime said character comes from (or the morals of said character; having the power of life & death, he effectively becomes God). At least another member of that forum has an avatar of Haruhi - he follows the TRUE path of righteousness!
High-Calibur Design?
Any planet with a heavy molten core will generate a magnetic field, It falls under the catagory of "Shit Happens" Only the most dependable scientific theory on explaining it all ever. Irafutable
Most people don't know about it because it explains itself, but it's in every scientific journal out there
"There is a very big chance that they were put there so we can use them. Cause if we could not, it would not serve any purpose at all."
Nope. The whole "solar radiation" thing aside, migrating birds use the Earth's magnetic field much more than we do. Does this mean that God is a duck?
Tell me, do other planets of the solar system have those magnetic fields? No.
Really?
Mercury, Jupiter, Jupiter's moon of Ganymede, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune all have active magnetic fields.
The Moon and Mars both had one at one time. Venus may also have had one.
You're completely full of shit.
Do the magnetic fields of the Earth serve any purpose for the Earth?
Other than to keep the solar wind from the Sun from grinding Earth's atmosphere down to nothing, and keep ionizing radiation from reaching the surface, making life as we know it difficult or impossible? I guess you got me.
Dozer, meet Kent Hovind, Ken Ham, Ray Confort, Carico and Casshiterides...!

The Magnetic Fields serve more of a purpose than you do, Dozy:

Jean-Michel Jarre's sound landscapes and sonic warps into the imagination are my aural drug. Infinitely more powerful than any controlled substance, and as they expand my imagination, are actually beneficial.
Somewhere An Astronomer Is Crying
So much astronomical fail in one post. Lets count:
1. The Earth took ten million years or more to pile together in the solar nebula.
2. All of the planets and a few of the moons and even one or two asteroids have detectable magnetic fields.
3. The Earth's magnetic field deflects solar wind and prevents electronics from being fried - but far more importantly it keeps the atmosphere from being stripped off into space. And aurora are pretty.
4. And, the big one: the universe does not exist for humans to use.
This last is particularly worrysome, because thinking that the universe exists for humans to 'put to good use' is an indicator of over-consumption.
Tell me, do other planets of the solar system have those magnetic fields? No.
If you base your argument on one fact, it is wise to check if that fact is actually, y’know, a fact. Otherwise you’ll look like an idiot and your argument crumbles around you.

What has the sword (or rather one of the swords) from the King Arthur myth to do with anything?
Confused?
