Quote# 45739

In an March 1, 2007, WorldNetDaily column, during a discussion of a scene in the film The Godfather: Part II in which Al Pacino's character hits his wife after she told him she aborted their child, Stanek wrote: "That spontaneous slap was the reaction of a real man who a woman had just told she aborted his baby. Compare that to the modern day cowardly male response, 'It's your choice. Whatever you decide, I'll support you.' "

Cowardice? Is THAT how Ms. Stanek describes men who DON'T slap their wives? Her home situation must be terrifying.

Miss Blasphemy

Right, a woman has an abortion therefore her husband/significant other should abuse her.

I hope you're a poe.

8/24/2008 2:32:01 AM

The scary thing is she's NOT a Poe. She is a real person who has testified before congress and has a column on World Net Daily. Do a search for her here, this is not shocking at all compared to other stuff she's said.

At least this time she shows just how much she absolutely fucking hates women who have had abortions. Hopefully people will see through the "compassionate conservative" bullshit she's pulling.

8/24/2008 2:35:50 AM

If you had watched the fucking movie, you'd know that the slap wasn't spontaneous.

Anyway, only a fucking asshole wimp would beat on a woman.

Moon Wolfhowl

Because sometimes it really is OK to beat the shit out of the one's you love. Except NOT.

Little Miss

*cringe* If only it were a poe....

Jesus Klingon

I think she just hates women in general.

So you didn't fall down the stairs or walk into a door. Your husband beat the shit out of you out of love. How sweet.

Old Viking

The early Godfather films are classics. This is the scene this dingbat remembers?

Allegory for Jesus

"WorldNetDaily column"

I should just stop there to preserve time and sanity.

But, I didn't. Shut the hell up about what constitutes a "real man". Why is a "real man" always instinctively hostile, violent and controlling towards women, and completely unwilling to see the world from another person's perspective?

DIAF, random World Nut author.

8/24/2008 3:21:51 AM

*palmface* You're so stupid..

8/24/2008 3:45:11 AM

From woman to woman, Jill: Get help. If you really think a man slapping the shit out of a woman, for deciding what to do with her own body, is more "manly", you are fucking messed up.

8/24/2008 4:11:28 AM

Heh, the she-ape's on the loose and she's looking for the kind of mate who could woo her by slapping the bitch out of her. Let's see how this turns out. :D

8/24/2008 4:41:01 AM

So crime bosses are better than understanding husbands, that's what you're saying. Fuck off.

8/24/2008 4:44:42 AM

The Corleone family, an ideal we should all strive towards.

8/24/2008 4:52:20 AM

Well, I feel a father should have a say in what happens to his baby, even if it isn't born yet. However, I am against domestic abuse.

8/24/2008 4:57:14 AM

The idea that Al Pacino is playing a bad person never crossed your mind...

Sorry, I forgot that you don't have one of those.

8/24/2008 5:03:47 AM

All of a sudden, I want to slap someone, too. Nothing to do with abortions, though. Strangest feeling, really...

8/24/2008 5:11:25 AM

The fact that the MSM is quoting this bitch is disturbing.

8/24/2008 6:13:01 AM

It's WingNutDaily. Enough said.

8/24/2008 6:15:00 AM

Bah, i'd rather read Weekly World News.

8/24/2008 8:59:53 AM

So, now real men are violent if things are not what they expect?. I wonder who's really pro-life(and whose life are they really pro?)

8/24/2008 10:53:01 AM

Using a masterpiece like 'The Godfather, Part II' to support his bigoted argument is beyond criminal.
