If he actually believes that is enough evidence to truly refute the theory of evolution, he has absolutely no idea how much work goes into the formation of a proper scientific theory.

Totally. It's not like he or she is learning about evolution or seeking to understand it - just looking for "comebacks" to defend her preconceived conclusions. I bet half of that binder is filled with strawmen, i.e., "evolution says that an elephant mates with a mouse and out pops a penguin!"
And if he or she was really "confident" in their "faith, faith in God," why would they need a 1" (ooh) binder loaded with comebacks? Why would they feel the need to "prove" everyone else wrong?
Also, "I have an interest" WTH?

Wow, that much eh? That must take up quite an impressive space. probably, ooh... a whole corner of your desk, maybe a foot or so high? Ok compare that to... let's see... what have we got handy... ah yes, this'll do... The entire Smithsonian Museum in Washington,DC. Or the Natural History Museum in London, England. Or any major university in the world. Or any major bookshop in the world. Or a collection of scientists all called Steve. Or...or... Ah what's the use ?

Well, we have literally millions of pages of paper, written by some of the most brilliant experts in the field, several hundreds of DVD's, thousands of books, tens of thousands of sites, and binders that, if stacked, would rise many times higher than the Empire Estate, AND all of it is growing at a comparatively exponential rate. But even if none of that was available, still the ToE would seem more rational than the KJV. It's called common sense. *ding* Next.
