We the People wish to see the National Firearms Act of 1934 repealed in order to remove regulations on our 2nd amendment rights, increase national economic strength, and provide protection against threats to our national security.

My research shows me that the NFA which A.Z. wants repealed imposes a $200 tax on the manufacture, or buying/selling certain items, and their compulsory registration with the government. Such items being, short-barrelled rifles, short-barrelled shotguns, suppressors, anything that goes da-da-da-da-da or anything that goes boom (like cannons, hand grenades and other bombs, including nukes). It is actually way more complicated than this but still... Depending on the state, some of these items are still legal and others simply require registration and the $200. Others are right out (grenades and nukes).

Personally, I don't see what's wrong with suppressors. Short-barrelled rifles are silly things, but there is little to no point restricting them in a country where handguns are already legal. But who am I kidding? It's the grenades and nukes that A.Z. wants his hands on!
