[Only people with a uterus should be able to make laws about their reproductive system.]
How dare any of you try to protect the lives of tiny humans! What a travesty!

...and if the likes of the OP here were to become pregnant, they would demand abortion facilities in all DIY stores.
Have you ever thought about the underlying theme to the "Alien" films? It's called 'Fear of Male Pregnancy'.
So what's stopping you from looking after all the unwanted babies in the world, pal...?!
I can't say I agree with the basic premise of the post this is replying to - you might as well say that only coal miners should be allowed to pass laws about coal mining (or, worse, that only stockbrokers should be allowed to pass laws about the stock market). Since we have a representative democracy, their representatives are responsible for voicing their concerns and putting forth their point of view. If you feel they aren't doing that, then by all means don't vote for them, but saying that your elected representative is incapable of properly representing you strictly because of their gender cannot be anything other than sexism.
Besides, I don't think it would help as much as pro-choice people wish it would. There's plenty of women in the world who'd be willing to take the "oh, it won't happen to me, or my daughters" tack; lord knows there always seem to be plenty whenever healthcare bills roll around.
To be frank, I would hope most women would know this and make their decisions accordingly.Sure they aren't really humans at that point, but i think the fact that they might would be important to uncertain pregnant people when deciding what would ve best for them.
Confused?
