The typical person wants to relieve themselves, an act many feel vulnerable doing and feel some strange inherent shame at, somewhere they feel comfortable and unthreatened. The LGBT community would like that same thing.

The kind of people you reference are there for kicks at everyone else's expense and not only is it pretty fucking obvious what their intentions are even before they attempt entry but they either give no shit about how legal it is or do it specifically because it is illegal and bears a risk. Moreover the kind of person who would barge into the ladies room and choke an 8 year old girl is not only wholly unrelated to the actual issue and likely have no personal opinions on it themselves but they have existed long long long before it was ever an issue you cared about and you were content to skip to the sports pages whenever it happened before and will do so again whether or not you have your own way and do everything in your power to recriminalize being anything out of place on an episode of Leave it to Beaver. Hell in the past you considered trying to sneak into the ladies room the harmless hijinks of teenage boys, including trying to disguise yourself as a cheerleader to do it.

Context, dickforbrains, it is pretty important.

It's already illegal for a woman to look through a hole for the same reason, even if that person is a woman in the women's room.

So we know where his rightist 'thinking' stands. Guns banned in the US? This would personally affect American kids... how? Except certain manchildren having their precious toys cruelly wrested away from them. The same thing happening in the UK post-Dunblane certainly never affected me personally. I would have no problem with the 2nd Amendment being eliminated from the US Constitution. I refer Piggy to Prohibition, and how long that lasted as an amendment. But then, I had no problem with guns being banned here in the UK. Certainly as I was part of the lobbying movement by writing to my MP.

Were there really laws that regulated that men only could go into bathrooms with the little stylized man on the door and women could only go into the one with the little skirt-wearing woman? I know that there are such laws now, but existed similar ones before that new transphobia fad?

I am not aware of any such laws in my country, so I am honestly curious about this. Are they laws on local, state or federal level? Would be breaking those laws a crime, a felony or only a misdemeanor? In who’s jurisdiction falls upholding such laws?

My guess would have been that it is rather one of those unwritten rules of society, not that it is actually regulated by law. Am I wrong?

No, we just do what we've always done which is to allow businesses to set their own bathroom policy which will ultimately depend on what their customers want (and I doubt most women want men in the same bathrooms as them so...).

No special levels of policing necessary. Worked this way fine for ages before SJWs started whining about "discrimination" or insisting that gendered bathrooms is the same as race-based bathrooms.

Never mind that the simple solution would be to just pass off as female or male. Seriously, nobody will notice unless you're deliberately trolling people with the whole "I'm non-binary" nonsense.

Still waiting for your detailed explanation as to how transgender women in the US using women's toilets affects you personally.

What's stopping you from holding it in whilst you're in Target? Did you know, that in the Tesco's supermarket in the St. Stephen's Mall in Hull, if the men's toilets on the ground floor are closed for cleaning/maintenance, there's a sign put up which says 'Please use the Women's disabled toilet upstairs'.

So clearly this huge business here in the UK has no hangups re. gender , so what's your excuse, Pigeon?

But then, this whole issue in the US never even started in my country, so your 'excuses' are just as nionexistent. Certainly credibility-wise.

We'd love to hear your detailed explanation - certainly from your own perspective - as to how you can possibly justify your excuses' right to have any credibility whatsoever, thus be listened to in the first place. As you know, we on FSTDT are experts at coming to our own conclusions, should an explanation not be forthcoming. Particularly on how this is a non-issue on this side of the pond. It hasn't affected us. From my geo-political perspective, the UK's still here, nor are my sisters affected (least of all yours truly), so it's not looking good for your 'explanation' already.
