Where are the totalitarian Christian governments? Where are the misogynist Christian nations? Where are the homophobic Christian governments?

It seems to me that nations which have the most Christians are the nations that are the most free, most kind to women, least homophobic, and least violent. The rest of the world clamours to get into these nations.

The totalitarian Christian governments have been replaced by secular, democratic ones. So now we no longer have Franco's Spain, Salazar's Portugal or Videla's Argentina.

Misogynist Christian nations? How is it that Christian countries such as Belize, Guatemala and El Salvador, where, thanks to the abortion laws, a woman can be jailed for 30 years for having a miscarriage, come out near the bottom of the Global Gender Gap Report rankings?

Homophobic Christian governments? Have you not been following the travels of Scott Lively and the leaders of the AFA? Given how things are in much of the Caribbean, here is a rather brave piece from the Jamaican newspaper The Gleaner.

The freest, least misogynistic and least violent are all secular democracies. Try freeing your mind from The Narrow Way.

"most kind to women"? That's pretty misogynistic, actually.
We want RESPECT, and equal rights, not people being kind to us, dumbass!

Paraguay is right now refusing a 10-year old girl an abortion. She was raped by her step-father and became pregnant. A pregnancy and a delivery might well kill her. But, to these "free, kind and non-violent" people, the parasite in her stomach trumps her human rights. So, both totalitarian and misogynist.

Eight of these thirteen countries are predominantly Christian.
The others are religious countries as well. None of them is an overtly atheist country.

I bet more people clamor to get into Sweden, the Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, the Czech Republic, UK, Japan, than Uganda, Senegal, Honduras, Nigeria, Zimbabwe...
Besides, which group does the US belong to? It has a non-religious government, but a very religious population.

Lets see, there was this one nation that claimed to be the third iteration of the "Holy" Roman Empire. What were they? The patis? Natis? Nazis! That's right, Nazi Germany would fit your definition.

Open up a history textbook sometime, you'll see that Misogynist, homophobic, totalitarian Christian governments dominated Europe from 500AD to ~1800 (less for some, much more for others)

Hell Africa has a good number of nations that still fit the bill.

The nations that you think are "Christian" are for the most part secular nations with a good bit of their constitutions devoted to separating church and state. They might have sizable Christian populations, but the governments are not Christian (Meaning that officials cannot use their position to advocate for their religion).
