My ire is up! I heard recently that Detroit is going to allow pagan Muslims to sound their “call to pray, (“Allah, please kill all Jews and Christians.”) publically. I am infuriated! We have all heard about the Muslim farce of “Jihad” which, as I’ve said before is a “Ji-hoke.” But I am personally declaring a real “Holy War.” of my own. Please feel free to join me.
A “war” is action, not “mental assent.” That means if all you do is say, “I agree with Gipp.” you are doing nothing. You are not at war you are simply appeasing yourself by pretending that agreeing makes you a part of it. If you are too gutless to act then put this essay down right now and go get a new cookie recipe and “bake for Jesus.”

One, Muslims are not Pagan. They are monoteist and their theology is close to any Abrahamic religion. Second, their call to prayer is "there is no more God than Allah", period. Nothing about killing Jewish or Christians(indeed, they are quitely living in Lebanon, Syria and Middle East for generations). Before you take your "doctorate", investigate a little, because the Crusades and religion wars are the proof that ANY person can kill or burn or do far worse things if they´re convinced they´re guided by God.

I've had the displeasure of hearing Gip rant, rave, and spew his hate in person. He came to my parents' church several times when I was a young teen. Everyone in our church LOVED him because he was very entertaining to listen to. He mocked everyone he didn't like (gays, liberals, liberal Christians, Muslims, Catholics, scientists, psychologists), using clever and facetious tones. Even the young children as young as 6 would squeal with laughter when he preached.
I particularly remember one story in which he mocked and ridiculed an 80 year-old woman who told him a horrific story of something that happened to her when she was 8. This man just has no compassion for anyone else and it's sickening.
He is even worse in real life than he is on paper. The entire time I listened to him I just wanted to puke. The experience was just undescribably sad--particularly because everyone around me was slapping their knees and howling amens.
The interesting thing is, however, that his wife's face was stone cold and miserable at each service. She didn't look particularly happy to be there with him. It was weird to see the entire audience laughing with Kathy Gipp just sitting solemnly reading her bible, never looking up or smiling once.
Ok, then... Lets get a few facts straight.
1. Muslims AREN'T PAGAN! (and I know, as I myself am Pagan.) Islam is an Abrahamic faith, just like Judaism and *gasp!* Christianity.
2. I've heard an Islamic call to prayer, and although I don't understand Arabic, I'm pretty sure they're not saying “Allah, please kill all Jews and Christians.”
3. Christians may be in the majority NOW, but that's slowly becoming less and less true. Either the Pagans or the Atheists are going to take over, and there is NOTHING you can do about it. So much for your 'holy war'
Beat 2 sticks butter, 3/4 cup dark brown sugar and 3/4 cup granulated sugar until fluffy; beat in 1 teaspoon vanilla and 2 eggs. Whisk 2 1/2 cups flour, 3/4 teaspoon baking soda and 1 teaspoon salt, then stir into the butter mixture. Add 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips and chill 30 minutes.
