I think gay people deserve all the rights straight ones have, but I wouldn't be too happy if I was gay and had the support of yuri fans. It's kind of like pedophiles supporting little children.

Lots of fans of every kind of fictional relationship don't seem to understand the difference between love and lust. I mean, you can love your S.O, you can love your brother, you can love your best buddy, and it's the same kind of love. But lust is a completely different thing. I have a gay friend who's deeply in love with a girl, and even though he's gay, they have a very sweet and loving relationship. And then I know tons of people who only date thoes who turn them on and think it counts as love.

The majority of slash writers seem to be overly horny kids who think love (or hate...) and lust go hand in hand, and ruin beautiful friendships by making them stick their tongues down eachothers throats and bang eachothers brains out. If JK Rowling decides to write about Harry and Ron crushing on eachother and eventually becoming a gay couple, that's fine and very sweet. But until then, there's absolutely no evidence of any lust, so any yaoi of them gets labeled "sick" by me.
