Turn over is in progress! I'm working out some kinks before handing everything over completely, but the majority of things have gone well.

I'm having some fun with the comments, and domains will most likely take a bit of time. But we're here, yell at Shy already.

Would save you time in hunting down and banning trolls such as Jerky, Nameless Coward, Ugly Toad, Mary Jane Lick Sick, fschit et al. >:D

That, or incorporating a 'Report' button which would bring to your attention any trolls/shitposters (literally, in one retard's case) and so on, to be dealt with.

I'm sure so many of the Old Guard wouldn't mind having that privilege. And I suggest that Mister Spak and so many others register.

Most other forums/boards would have banned them way before now for their behaviour, so I think it's time FSTDT had that sanction too.

@checkmate: I'm afraid that's out of my control. I didn't take over the world, just FSTDT. Though that may or may not be my next plan...

@Moose-kun: Try logging out and logging back in and clearing your browser cache & cookies. If that doesn't do the trick, I'll look into it. Also, I can handle shitposting without a report button; I've got other tools at my disposal. >:3

@JeanP: I suspect that it and a few other hiccups are related to the updated DNS records for fstdt.com and fstdt.net not being fully propagated. Basically that means you'll occasionally see what looks like an error pop up, but it's actually from the domain pointing you to the dismantled old site. That'll clear up in a day or two. Right now fstdt.net is more reliable than fstdt.com on my end. (And fstdt.org is fully propagated and not susceptible to the flickering-DNS issue, but I'm turning it into a FSTDT meta discussion site / blog later.)

Putting Jerry on probation would be a good idea too. He's shit up threads for far too long; he's all but worn out his welcome with his extremely malleable doctrine hypocrisy & refusal to admit his mendacity BS. Same with the equally two-faced & hypocritical caamib*: his constantly repeating - basically spamming - his unjustifiable lies when time & again he's proved wrong by others: via them quoting his own contradictory words, no less (http://fstdt.org/QuoteComment.aspx?QID=122564&Page=4#1993733; a prime example by Passerby). But does he ever get the hint...?

And as Distind permab& His4Life - and she'd infected FSTDT for nearly eight years - then that's something to consider.

As caamib/coconut/GovernmentGetGfs/Alexius had obviously circumvented a previous ban by Distind (who'd had to ban Marjan Siklic under the latter screename because of him spamming in most threads at that time his insane demand 'When will the Croatian government find me a girlfriend?!' & 'Write your governments: find me a girlfriend!') - by the fact he's here today: http://www.fstdt.net/QuoteComment.aspx?QID=121940&Page=3#1995383 - then the prosecution rests.

@Moose-Kun: He's back on "hiatus." For a very, very long time. As for caamib or Jerry, if they start wharrgarbling again, just let me know. I want to be cautious about IP banning because I don't want any collateral damage (i.e. some innocent user getting the banned IP later).

@Ravy: No complaints out of me for it.

Edit: Pepe went byebye. All bow down to shy's b&hammer. It seems I'm probably going to be quicker to the draw with bans than Distind (or at least more transparent about it). I just don't have his patience of steel. If I start going overboard and you are reading this, yell at me, and I will try to slow down. That said, I'll never ban anyone except people who are obviously deliberately being a total ass and are well aware they've worn out their welcome.

*- Perhaps one reason for an alteration in the near future: making registration a requirement for posting.

It would make IP tracking easier; perhaps act as a deterrent for said anonymous trolls/shitposters. Particularly literally, in the instance of the Scatroll & his activities.

How ironic that Kuk's Profiterole: the Turkish Jewish Nazi hates Erdogan and his brand of 'dictatorship': Yet, that's exactly what he wants with Donald Fart: his - and the other Trumptards' - God-Emperor & his brand of tyranny can do no wrong, as far as they're concerned.

So if said Turkish Jewish Nazi is all for ultra-draconian dictatorship: let's give him what he wants. Deny him - and the Nameless Coward - his 'privilege': only allow those who are registered to post here.

It would make it easier to ban shitposters then. And like I say, denied of their 'freedom' previously, would perhaps serve as a deterrent.
