The mental and physical requirements of auto racing are similar to those of combat fighter piloting. The U.S. armed forces can't find Blacks up to the job, and there is certainly no "glass ceiling" in the way. The problem is that the job in question can only go to the very best of the best, and since Whites are better at the job, Blacks are outcompeted. Being a fighter pilot or a stock car driver requires a special kind of brain, one with lightning-fast processing speed and extraordinary capacity for multitasking.

As I've said before on this subject, there are only two options open to those who would enforce diversity on auto racing:

1) put real Blacks behind the wheel and watch them fail.
2) put Octoroons behind the wheel and listen to the jokes about their apparent Whiteness and professed Blackness.
