[This was a letter to the editor regarding Chaim Levin (no relation), an Orthodox Jewish LGBT advocate.]

Evidence Of An Agenda

Chaim Levin’s recent article and appearances on video and Jewish radio provide ample evidence of an agenda far more wide-ranging than merely opposing bullying and reparative therapy.

It’s an exact duplication of the militant homosexual activist playbook: Desensitize society through constant discussion of homosexuality, urges, etc. Create feelings of guilt in others by exaggerated, unsubstantiated claims of Jewish homosexual suicides due to “bullying,” discrimination, etc. Gain public sympathy by using the media, and then solidify gains by forming organizations like Jewish Queer Youth.

Rashi (Devarim 25:18) describes Hashem’s eternal enemy, Amalek, as practitioners of homosexuality. Rambam rules that one who is tempted to sin disguise himself, sin secretly and act the hypocrite in public so as not to desensitize society to sin. Urging youth to join in a group that identifies itself with Amalek-type behavior reinforces negative self-identification and more often than not results in sinful misbehavior.

Imagine a Jewish adulterers’ Shabbaton, an “intimacy for the under-aged” shul or an adult incest organization forming a minyan. How about articles by and organizations of mamzeirim who demand sympathy and change because Jews are halachically forbidden to marry them? These are all spiritual oxymorons and would constitute a fifth column in the Torah community.

I have tremendous sympathy for those challenged by temptations and unkosher desires. As you do with cancer, you never stop trying to find a better treatment to cure yourself. If all therapies fail, as a last resort you use chemicals to stop the urge to act in a forbidden manner. (This resolution is ordered by European courts for offenders and it works.) Unpleasant, surely; but better than committing adultery, homosexuality or incest.

[The White House asks all visitors to register in advance. Unborn children must be registered if they will be born before the visit.]

What in the world does an unborn child have to do with security? Headcount , that is about the stupidest thing I have heard. How does an unborn child pose a security threat to the White House when that child isn't born, and then once it is born it is still on the registered list if this what this list is about. How is the mother suppose to preregister her child when it is unknown what sex gender it is? Although they can see it on the ultra sound of which gender the baby is, some mothers wants to know before the baby is born, but there are some who don't want to know until the baby arrived. This is what he is paying our tax money for security by registering the unborn baby. Do you know how ridiculous and down right immature that is? My stars is this government afraid that this unborn child is carrying a concealed weapon inside the mother's womb, and once the unborn child is arriving going to come out shooting everyone it sees! Then will go and hunt down and shoot up the White House. By doing such a thing is just unconstitutional, and disrespectful for the unborn and its mother. How typical of such money being wasted on such stupidity.

Oh, it’s very simple. It’s absolutely very simple. I have a doctorate in sociology from NYU, and I know what the literature says. The literature is definitive. There is one gold standard, one gold standard for children. That is: there is no substitute for a marriage between a man and a woman. I want the law to discriminate against straight people who live together — I used to call it “shacking up,” but now it’s called cohabitation. I want the law to discriminate against all alternative lifestyles, against gays and unions. I want to promote and to put in a privileged position that institution of marriage between a man and a woman, which has been shown over and over to be the gold standard.

Same-sex marriage seemed to be detrimental to Massachusetts; as I recall, real estate prices subsequently declined. In contrast, the short-term and long-term economic benefits of the traditional family are difficult to deny.

I looked at the real estate market. The data is surely available for anyone else to review.
Real estate values depend on strong families and a growing economic base. That's not same-sex marriage.

In Canada there is no choice given to citizens about the issue: same-sex marriage is imposed throughout the nation. In the United States, there is high mobility away from states that impose same-sex marriage toward states that recognize how important traditional marriage is to long-term prosperity.

Dear Penn Jillette the so-called atheist (who is afraid to debate Bible believers):

I was looking at the April 17, 2012 article entitled The Penn & Teller Election and it appears that you are still width challenged. What happened? I thought you possessed the "super atheist intellect".

Do not the scientific disciplines of exercise science, nutritional science and medical science have an abundance of solutions to being overweight? Doesn't medical science declare there are significant health risks with being overweight?

Is the problem sin? The sins of sloth and gluttony? Are you sure God does not exist? The reason I ask is that there sure is a lot of evidence that God exist as can be seen by the resources offered here: Evidence for Christianity. By the way, do you have any proof and evidence that atheism is true?

but I have bad news for atheists. Even if we invented time travel, the most popular place to go would be Jerusalem circa 1 B.C. and watch Jesus' whole life from birth to death. We would not see Jesus though. Why? I'm glad you asked.

We wouldn't see Him because God would obviously know about what we are doing and He's not going to allow every human being to witness all the miracles first hand. Remember I said that stuff was a one time deal?

So an atheist going back in time and saying, "Aha! No Jesus!" would mean absolutely nothing. Of course He's not going to be there. God isn't stupid.

So even with time travel, atheists still would not "get their proof."

I cringe when I watch Back to the Future and watch Christopher Lloyd in the beginning say, "Or witness the birth of Christ!" and he sets the date to December 25, 0000. I always facepalm that.

Judaism is opposed to sexual equality.

Within the Orthodox Jewish community, the primary decision makers should be men.

First of all, only men are permitted to attend Talmudic lectures. Since all important decisions in society are based on the Talmud, this effectively excludes women from community decision making.

Second of all, in Judaism, wealth generally is in the hands of men. If someone dies and leaves a son, the son inherits all regardless of the existence of daughters. If a woman marries and owns property, the property is controlled by her husband during their marriage. If a married woman works, her earnings belong to her husband unless she waives her right to spousal support.

The fact is, however, this is little different than in other societies.

In all human societies, even those which claim to endorse the principle of equality of the sexes, men are dominant. In politics, about 80% of all leaders are male. In the business world, there were 21 women from a total of 1,226 billionaires worldwide in 2012. (In fact, New Atheists leaders are called by some "sexist".)

Going a step further, among most animals and nearly all mammals, the male is larger and more aggressive on the average than the female.

Gender equality is therefore seemingly not only against human nature, but against biology.

Hi there. this is my testimony. When I was 16 I had a group of guy friends who all played ouija at the graveyard. I refused to do it since my parents were christians and have warned me against it since i was young. I was at a troubling time that time of my life and had fallen out of school and dated one of the guys. that was a perfect way for satan to take hold of my life. he likes it when we are weak and lonely, because then we fall for temptation and anything that makes us feel good. I have been using drugs since i was 14, but after they all played ouija, things changed for the worst. We all got infected with some kind of mark that looked like an infection. medical salves and stuff couldnt remove the mark. mine was on my back, my boyfriends near his privates. We started using more drugs and became very different.

The following changes took place in me after the ouija incident – and after i had started sleeping with my boyfriend:

My clothes changed, I started wearing baggy and ripped clothes, I only wore black. My hair was a mess and my nails chipped, I looked ghastly. Before I wore color and cared about how I looked. – next to God comes cleanliness.

My personality changed. I became very quiet and reserved. I was very mean and aggressive. I hated my parents and cursed all the time. I was angry all the time and felt sorry for myself. I no longer laughed and was depressed all the time.

I was sexually promiscuous. Me and my boyfriend had a lot of sex and I watched a lot of pornography, I engaged in masturbation almost twice or more a day. I was kind of obsessed with sex, our whole relationship was based on sex.

Message: I have a story very similar to the ouija board story. It involves a woman that called a psychic hotline to hear her future. After she made that call she was tormented by an evil presence appearing like a gray, foul-smelling mist that followed her everywhere.

After failures in her life, losing friends and her family becoming distant, she called our pastor to pray over her. When the pastor entered her home, she knew an evil presence was there. She commanded it to leave and anointed the home with holy oil and the presence left the woman’s home and she now lives in peace.

Our pastor has told the congregation many times not to mess with any kind of objects pertaining to witchcraft, the occult, soothsayers, etc. because they’re all portals to hell and if you open them, you’re headed for destruction.

Even as innocent as the Harry Potter books are, that’s still against the Word of God, and look how many children read them and watch the movies. Satan has a very short time to wreak his havoc and he is doing it in all kinds of ways, both gentle and violent. Police in Bangladesh are looking for a teacher from a Muslim religious school who allegedly placed burning hot iron rods on the legs of her students for failing to offer prayers regularly.

They say 14 girls, aged between eight and 12, received burn injuries.

The school has been temporarily closed following the incident, while the "hellish experience" of the girls has been widely reported in newspapers.

"It was the first day of the madrassa after our holidays. Our teacher got angry when she heard that we were not offering regular prayers during our vacation," said Ferdousi Akther, aged eight.

"Then she asked her servant to heat up the rod and then she pressed it on our legs. The pain was unbearable."

Pupils say that the teacher asked the students whether they knew the severity of the fire in hell.

They were allegedly told that if they did not offer prayers regularly, they would experience a similar punishment.

You know what they say. History is written by the victors. The satanic witches won and now they run our country. That's why history books say they weren't really witches.

You must understand God can not be evil. For he is God. He decides what is good and what is evil and he never does evil. Evil is the absense of God. If God decides someone has to die then it is God's will and it is good. Maybe they were bad and God wants to rush them to hell, or maybe they were about to encounter something terrible and God was getting them to heaven early so they wouldn't have to deal with it.

But for the most part if you are innocent God will show you to be innocent and if you are guilty God will show you to be guilty so long as the accused puts their faith in God that he will show the correct result.

That is why we must bring back trial by ordeal.

You keep repeating "they weren't really witches." over and over. Please provide some evidence other than that historians don't think they were real witches and a few people (probably under the command of Satan) renounced their testimony.

How do we know that not a single one of the accused was a witch?

I haven't seen any proof in those history books. The historians are just assuming that, because we've been mislead to believe that witches aren't real. Speculation is not proof.

What evidence do I have? They put them on trial and found them guilty. Now, I admit trial by judge or jury isn't as fair as trial by ordeal because you are leaving it up to humans instead of God, but still most of the time the jury arrives at the right verdict. It's only rarely that someone is falsely convicted, and if those people lead virtuous lives oh well they went to heaven anyways.

1 or 2 may have been innocent, but they would've been spared if they had used trial by ordeal instead. Not necessarily the drowning test, but maybe having them scalded and seeing how fast the boils heal. When people are accused and you have a trial by ordeal to see if they are innocent or guilty so long as those people believe in God and are innocent then God will cause the boils to heal by the deadline for the verdict.

One North Carolina resident is making his anti-marriage equality stance clear after posting a rather troubling video on YouTube that's been going viral in the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) blogosphere.

The resident, who introduces himself as Alex, notes: "Right now, there's this amendment trying to be passed -- Amendment One -- that's going to state that marriage is going to be between one man and one woman, which is how it ought to be." Noting that he "was just going to have a little talk" about a "Vote Against Amendment One" sign displayed by a neighbor, Alex proceeds to fire two bullets into the sign with his shotgun.

I used to teach biology at a technical college. I know I never hid my opinions on evolution and creationism. In fact I was known for, after explaining some "fascinating aspect of molecular biology", raising my hands and exclaiming "How great Thou Art". Like my husband likes to remind me, I am not employed there any longer and all my attempts to return to the college and the classes that I love have been unsuccessful.

Sometimes I like to daydream about what if I became an American dictator. You know, just like the Romans used to do in the Republican times when things were getting out of hand, someone who was given absolute power for a limited time, with a life-time immunity for the decissions made while in office. It worked for them, and I wonder if it would work for us. Anyhow, if I became absolute ruler for a time, I think the first thing I would do (after overturning Roe vs. Wade) would be to get rid of all judges. I would hold special elections to replace them, but I would not spare anybody!

Lee and Stonewall Jackson did during the Civil War. The number typically conjures up biblical symbolism tied to the Antichrist, but this St. Catharines, Ont., family belongs to a obscure Christian sect for which “666” is a positive symbol of their group’s messianic leader.

“They wanted to do it,” Ms. Rosado, 45, said at the St. Catharines tattoo parlour where her daughters were inked. “But now it’s more important because we’re counting down… I’m so proud.”

For this family, and other members of Growing in Grace International, these tattoos are a way of demonstrating their faith as true believers of Jose de Luis de Jesus — who they fervently believe is the second coming of Jesus Christ — before a day of reckoning they believe will wipe out most of humanity.

The group, which they say has branches in five Canadian cities and members in more than 130 countries, believes that on June 30 (or July 1 across the international dateline), their Texas-based leader and his followers will be transformed, said Alex Poessy, the group’s bishop in Canada.

To spread the word, Growing in Grace put up billboards in Toronto this week featuring Mr. de Jesus.

“That day, the body of Jose de Luis de Jesus, who is a human like you and me, his flesh is going to be immortal…. He’s going to be living forever. And that will happen to him, but also his followers.”

But, said Mr. Poessy: “All those that are not believers are going to be destroyed.”

Growing in Grace International is not the first to prognosticate that the so-called end of the world will come this year. The Mayan calendar famously picks Dec. 21, 2012.

But Mr. de Jesus also predicts that the “transformation” will endow him, and his loyal followers, with superpowers, such as the ability to fly and walk through walls, said Axel Cooley, the bishop’s daughter.

“[We can] run and not get tired. Go through fire and not get burned…. I could be talking to you right now, and then I could go through that wall. So, you’ll know there is a difference,” Cooley said.

The raging infant at the core of Tyler Clementi’s personality could not do anything but rage at the unfairness of not being able to enjoy both his religious mother’s unqualified love and the masochistic ecstasy of submitting to anal penetration by a disheveled older guy who still didn’t know Tyler’s full name, even after reaming Tyler’s anus on three occasions in Room 30. Tyler’s self-scripted death drama was childishly simple, but airtight. Within the hermetically-sealed chambers of liberal group-think everyone would simply assume that just because Tyler’s self-imposed death came soon after Ravi’s Twitter bits that Ravi was responsible for Tyler’s death. The liberals would predictably fall prey to every idiot’s first fallacy of post hoc, ergo propter hoc reasoning: the fallacious belief that just because one event follows another, the second event must have been the consequence of the first. And that’s what happened. The well-heeled gay radicals tasted blood in the water and the eager-to-please left-leaning prosecutors were eager to gratify their feeding frenzy. Their scapegoat would be Dharun Ravi.

Sentencing is scheduled for May 21st, 2012. If Dharun Ravi gets prison time, then we should all fear for our liberty.
