It is a sad statement that shows a lack of faith. God blesses us with suffering, so that we can get closer to him.

I met and talked with a survivor of the Nazis' ultimate death factory: Auschwitz. He saw his entire family murdered before his eyes by the SS.

Whilst he still follows Kosher dietary law, he isn't a practicing Jew. Not since that day in Auschwitz. His thought on that day, and since then, which has made him the Atheist he is today? 'The Covenant has been broken. He is no longer here!'.

When you have experienced exactly the same as he has - including beatings & torture - then we'll see how much 'faith' you have, little Raptard.

And there's me thinking that those of Kyle's ilk - Ruptured Retards - were 'Supporters of Israel'; also, via that 'Covenant', their 'God' was too...?:

You fundies - especially after early-November 2012 (Obama's re-election) and recently after the SCOTUS ruling on DOMA - bang on & on about how 'Evil is Good and Good is Evil'? Well, as per what I say: that I've figured out the 'Mystery' of the Bible, that Lucifer ('Satan') is actually the good guy in all of this (God lying to A&E; 'thou shalt surely Die', yet the snake said they wouldn't). 'Lucifer' means 'Bringer of Light': Illumination, and not just of the visual kind, but intellectual. Knowledge - as in thinking for oneself - is the only 'Sin', from the perspective of fundies...:

Isiah 45:7: 'I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.'

Amos 3:6: 'Does the trumpet alarm sound in a city, without the people being afraid? Does evil happen to a city, and Yahweh hasn't done it?'

Thanks for admitting that, fundies. Welp, time to pack up, for you lot. It's finally been figured out. No need for 'doctrines', 'morality' or 'philosophy'. We've worked out that we can go it alone, without 'religious guidance' or any of that nonsense.

Uh...of course it's sad. People who have lost all that they owned, and then all that they loved, and then all that they hoped, are unlikely to say things that are not sad.

It does in fact show a lack of faith. I am fairly sure that was the entire point of it as a sentence.

That God 'blesses' 'us' with suffering, and that the purpose of this blessing is to narrow the gap between man and God, are mysterious declarations which, judging by their positioning, apparently are meant to imply that Holocaust victims ought not to have objected to their circumstances. Because if it happened, it was God, and therefore good.

Unless you have a perfect life history of never complaining aloud or praying for God to change anything outside your personal state of mind, the hypocrisy of this implication makes you the lowest of the low. Without compassion, but with a boundless self-satisfaction. Precisely the sort of person Jesus of Nazareth was supposed to have led a social movement against, in fact.

So, two self-evident assertions and then two pieces of heartless nonsense. Not a good score.
