The gaming industry has no morals
My son was talking to one of his friends over our supper last night. Normally I wouldnt listen twice when they talk over video games but this caught my eye. They talked about a game that had guns, violence and the last battle of humanity. I didnt get upset until my son mentioned the Satan and God would both be in the game and you can do things for them. Yes you can WORK for SATAN and kill ANGELS.
I asked him the information of the game and where he got it from.
Blackgaurd Game
kaoswar.com is the homepage. I have contacted the ESRB about this and we are in hopes to get them appealed.
According to my son this company will be having angels devils and the human race as a playable avatar and KILLING each other. KILLING angels. How could the gaming industry let this happen? is there nobody there with faith?

Whoah, that's awesome. You can play as the ENTIRE HUMAN RACE? I wanna know what that avie looks like.
Also, I'm not entirely sure what they expect the ESRB to do about an unreleased game. It's gonna be rated M anyways.
Y'know what this says? Christians don't care about what they're children fill their brain with until it suggests the death of a holy figure. Her son could be talking about hiring prostitutes, raping people, killing, etc. and she won't care unless it involves God.
Great ethics.
>>Well, considering that one fundie who thought that pagan websites could send demonic computer-possessing viruses over the Internet, I'm not surprised. <<
I am going to make a two humble assumptions about that person.
1. They are a well-meaning but tactless and clueless elderly person.
2. Their first post on an Internet forum was "Hey Guys Im New To This Internets Thing Go Easy On Me L.O.L. :-) P.S. I Downloaded Some Free Smileys How Do I Get Them Into This Email Board?"
Shit, you can be one of five different races. This guy should raise an army and try to ban World of Warcraft too.
Oh, right, doesn't involve Satan.
angel is another name for rodent. have you not killed a roach or rat ? real angels are pesky little morons with absolutely no sense whatsoever. in fact, humans (who, for the most part, are dumber than horse excrement) are created by god above angels, just as we (humans) are above chicken and cattle. dead angels=good angels=bad angels=dead angels. angels are only good for one thing,,, food. I want me some angel burgers ! mmmm good !
Yay! Killing angels! Holier'n thou, buncha little Goody Two Shoes, always laying around in the snow flapping they arms, dancing on pin heads . . .

Left Behind: Eternal Forces?
Wait, this is a game right?
So, douchebag, are you worried that if your son kills an angel in a video game that he might kill an angel if he actually met one in real life?
Was your son playing video game while you ate?
What they said caught your eye ?
You are in hopes to get them appealed? How, and from where?
Companies have faith in Mammon, the god of money.
After four and a half years of still officially being in Beta, I'm thinking there's a SLIGHT possibility of this fine Kaos War MMO being vaporware.
(sigh)
Such a shame, t'was a great premise, too.
I read the first sentence and thought it was about the gaming industry as in betting on horses or playing cards, slot machines. Where you can quickly owe large amounts of money and have nice visitors who want to break your legs.
That kind of industry. And I agreed that there is very little morals in it. Then I read on an learned that it was all about video games, fiction...
"wonder what they have to say about the disgaea series"
Y'know, oddly enough, I haven't seen any fundie rant about Disgaea to ANY degree. Similarily, I've seen few rantage about Shin Megami Tensei (there's a P3 "review" on Guide2Games, a fundie game review site, but I haven't read it since I know better than to kill my SMT hardon).
Really, these guys rage about Pokemon being demonic, but why the fuck do they gloss over Disgaea and SMT?
Seems cool. Can't wait. Also, alot of us gamers are atheists. So while there are a few people with faith, most of us, myself included, are atheists.
@Rapax Pringer
To review a Megaten game would require typing the title, which would probably cause their fingers to rot, their eyes to burn out, and their tounges to turn to coal or something.
I read the second paragraph and thought "cool, a fundie saw SMT, shit's gonna be funny".
Than it turns out it's some web game.
Dammit, missed a nice lol right there.
The gaming industry isn't one big pillar of all games ever created. There are different companies which make different games. The ESRB doesn't "appeal" (do you mean "recall"?) games--it rates them.
AND Kaos War is an MMORPG AND that site hasn't been updated since '08. The forums are not very active, either.
News flash genius: industries in general have no morals! All they want to do is get a hold of your money. While there may be people of faith working for them, they must put their faith aside if they want to keep their jobs.
Try to remember that when you find yourself championing the political party that demands that industries be given free range to do whatever they want in the name of "prosperity."
Didn't God command the angels to bow to man? So if killing humans in a game is okay, why is it not okay to kill angels? I mean according to your own God, they (the angels) are, sort of, second-class citizens of the universe. Oh wait, you never actually read the Bible? Oh, okay then.
Man, I was hoping it was SMT too.
Is it bad that I want them to find out and freak out about it?
You know, if we instigated it and manipulated the media outrage properly, we might even be able to boost awareness of Persona 5 when it comes out!
You're more upset over the concept of killing mythical flying beings than you are of killing humans in this game?
Well, good news, it's just a game. None of it is real.Angels, demons, god, and the devil don't exist. Now you can go back to not caring.
the human race as a playable avatar
Somehow that reminds me of the short story “In the Hills, the Cities” from the first Book of Blood by Clive Barker
Got a feeling you'd be fine with "Kill the Muzzies, Armegeddon Shitstorm 3".
"I have contacted the ESRB about this and we are in hopes to get them appealed."
WTF is that? You mean banned first fundie complaint, right?
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
