After he got a good look he forsook the paganism and became a born again Christian.
*sigh* This again. They never give up.

"They say they don't believe in any fairy tales and or supernatural forces, BUT they only seem to come out of the wood work attacking Christianity. Coincidence? I think not! "
You're right, it's not coincidence! It's confirmation bias!

I kid you not when I was at Fort Sam Houston there were Pagans/Wiccans asking to be allowed to practice their faith
Oh my freaking Gawrd! No way! They wanted to exercise their religious freedoms? What the hell is this country coming to? Next thing you know they'll be demanding the right to peacefully assemble and free speech too!
But never fear we have Hollywood to help us right?
Hollywood released Passion of the Christ. Also The Ten Commandments. So clearly they do Christian material too. Problem is that most Christian movies suck, mainly because Christian studios and directors know that Christians will go see ANYTHING with Jesus in it. It's the same reason Christian rock sucks.

The difference between you people and Pagans and Wiccans is that Pagans and Wiccans don't force us to live their way, no matter how right they think they are. If the old Roman religions was to become as big as Christianity and they would force us to give something to the temple every year via taxes, we'd chop the freakin' wood work down.
If you were refering to other religions, like Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, Shinto and all the animalistic ones, believe me, there are thousands of atheist and skeptics fighting just as hard.
If you don't believe me, google Aliaa Magda Elmahdy.

Atheists will start criticizing Wicca as much as they do Christianity when people start making up lies about how the US was founded as a Wiccan nation and killing abortion doctors in the name of the Horned Goddess.

"I've had so many people I have been acquaintances with in the past try to recruit me for lack of a better word. "You have a very powerful light inside of you." was one comment that one made to me."
Exactly what's the difference between that and "you have a good soul" that so many Christians use as a compliment?
"Most of them talk over and over again about getting back at people, and casting spells on people who have wronged them."
Liar.
Wicca follows the fairly ancient magical belief that whatever you do to others will be returned to you several fold, thus they don't "cast" harmful magic as they believe it would return to them many times more severely than what they caused.
"I have one friend who was a pagan; or whatever the favorite term of the month is, who had a 'spirit guide' and asked said spirit guide to show its true self to him. After he got a good look he forsook the paganism and became a born again Christian."
Uh huh. I'm sure you've got another friend who was an atheist until he "found Jesus" over some trivial matter and is now a Holier-than-Thou Born Again Bible thumping god botherer.
Like I said, you're a liar.
"But never fear we have Hollywood to help us right? They would NEVER do anything to help foster the idea that this stuff is cool right? Not so much."
I have never, in my entire life met anyone who did anything because "Hollywood" somehow suggested it was a good idea. I'm not sure what kind of simpletons you fundamentalists hang out with, but rational people don't up and do something because "Hollywood" does it.

"Most of them talk over and over again about getting back at people, and casting spells on people who have wronged them."
Wicca teaches that any spell cast will also be upon the spell caster seven fold. If a Wiccan casts a bad spell on someone that had wronged them, then they would suffer from the same spell, only seven times worse.
Also, Wicca's creed includes "harm none."
You, readyforhome, are full of shite.

I judge that you're all mistaken.
But I'm happy for you and them to go your own way.
The reason you see me opposing (the crazies among) the Christians, is that, unlike Wiccans, they are not equally happy for me to go mine.

Oh My Dog!
I kid you not when I was at Fort Sam Houston there were Pagans/Wiccans asking to be allowed to practice their faith
And shouldn't they have that right?
Satanically driven attempts to further attack and undermine Christianity
Satan is part of
your religion. BTW your persecution complex is showing.
Unites States Christian origins
Treaty of Tripoli disagrees.
This is also something that sticks in my craw about atheists. They say they don't believe in any fairy tales and or supernatural forces, BUT they only seem to come out of the wood work attacking Christianity.
The only reason Christianity gets attacked is because Christianity tends to attack first. I'll give you a hint, you guys tend to treat people who merely disagree with you as second class citizens, and you try to legislate U.S. law to that end.
Coincidence? I think not! I'm actually not sure what Pagans and Wiccans believe when it comes to the origins of the Earth and the people and animals in it.
And if they accept what science has to say, what does that mean now? More proof that they are somehow Satanic? Suuuure.
I've had so many people I have been acquaintances with in the past try to recruit me for lack of a better word. "You have a very powerful light inside of you." was one comment that one made to me.
Recruitment is your shtick.
I have one friend who was a pagan; or whatever the favorite term of the month is, who had a "spirit guide" and asked said spirit guide to show its true self to him. After he got a good look he forsook the paganism and became a born again Christian.
Yeah, sure, whatever you say.
But never fear we have Hollywood to help us right? They would NEVER do anything to help foster the idea that this stuff is cool right?
Hollywood thinks anything that will make
money is cool.
The prayer from The 13th Warrior was cool though.

Luckily, the choice is not between Christianity and paganism.
Also, I never get the fuss about "Hollywood". If you think films are satanic and want to get you into witchcraft, don't watch them. Watch Christian films about nice things. What's the problem?

Part 1:
I kid you not when I was at Fort Sam Houston there were Pagans/Wiccans asking to be allowed to practice their faith, or lets just call it what it is, Satanically driven attempts to further attack and undermine Christianity and the Unites States Christian origins.
Actually, it was a desire to be permitted to express themselves spiritually and religiously; you know, the same right that you christians take for granted and try your damnedest to deny everyone else.
This is also something that sticks in my craw about atheists. They say they don't believe in any fairy tales and or supernatural forces, BUT they only seem to come out of the wood work attacking Christianity. Coincidence?
If we knocked on their doors to spread our beliefs, accosted them in parking lots, stuck tracts all over everything, tried to convert their children whether we have permission or not and manipulated the law to promote or beliefs, they'd dislike us too - and with good reason.
However, we don't do that. Whomever comes to Pagan religions does so on his or her own. Proselytizing goes against our belief that one's relationship with deity (or deities) is between him/her and the Divine. It is not for us to change or interfere with. We also believe that Atheists have the right to choose to not follow any deity at all and we support their choice.

Part 2:
I've had so many people I have been acquaintances with in the past try to recruit me for lack of a better word. "You have a very powerful light inside of you."
Liar. We don't proselytize. If someone mentioned your 'light', that's a compliment, no different than you telling people they 'have a good/decent/clean soul', not coercion to convert. Moron.
Most of them talk over and over again about getting back at people, and casting spells on people who have wronged them.
Another lie. Not all Pagans follow the Threefold Law or believe in Karma, but Wiccans do, and none of them wants to send out any negative energy into the universe because they believe this to be wrong. It's not good for the universe, the recipient or them.
I have one friend who was a pagan; or whatever the favorite term of the month is, who had a "spirit guide" and asked said spirit guide to show its true self to him. After he got a good look he forsook the paganism and became a born again Christian.
Gods...not this again. If a poll were taken, I'd be willing to bet that the percentage of conversion from one religion to another leans heavily in our favor. Almost every Pagan I have ever met, regardless of tradition, began life as a christian.
In the future, perhaps you should avoid talking about things you so obviously know nothing about. It makes you look like a complete idiot.

Considering what many Pagan faiths believe including Wicca, calling them Satan driven says he's probably a good guy. Also first amendment. I can believe in and worship my gods. You can with Jesus (though if my being Pagan weakens your faith then that's on you. ) Treaty of Tripoli too. Ao much fail

A Pagan friend gave me a small statue of Pan for Christmas one year. I keep it next to my Ganesh and Buddha figures. They all seem to get along fine. My friend thinks it's funny, and yes, she knows I'm an atheist.
We can laugh about these things because we don't take ourselves that seriously. Fundies seem convinced they are on a CRUSADE FOR GOD and have surgically removed their senses of humor, proportion, and empathy.
