This is why Occam's Razor was invented. The more complicated & convoluted explanations you have to come up with to explain X shows that X probably isn't true.

So basically, absolutely anything could be true, including that Brad Pitt is actually a repurposed clone of Elvis, because magic could have done it, so you have no basis on which to accept or reject anything as being factual.

Right. But if God used so much magic then why didn't he just put a magic shield around the animals our give them all gills or something? Or teleport them out of existence and put them back again once the water levels returned to normal? I mean, if we're going to use magic as an explanation then either your god really sucks at it or he's cruel enough to drown billions of innocent animals (including puppies). Our worst movie villains wouldn't even stoop to that level of evil so I'm really hoping your god is just incredibly incompetent.

So why didn't God just cause everyone bad to die, without all this flood malarkey? I think it's also worth wondering what the animals ate after they got off the ark. You'd just be left with the predators after a very short period of time. And that's before you even question the possibility of gathering up every single species of animal in the world, and then building a boat big enough to hold them. We were taught about Noah at school when we were about eight. Even then, we knew it was just a fairy tale.

All of these things just prove to me that god is not very inventive, or a good engineer at all. One would think that an all powerful sky daddy would be able to just twitch his nose and make all the bad people go bye-bye, instead of you know killing every living thing on the planet just to take out the wicked ones. But then I guess logic has never been a friend to myth.

"A lot of you are disregarding the fact that God could've put the animals in a hibernating state so they didn't need to eat much, and God could've prevented the animals from eating each other."
And
all of you are disregarding the fact that the Nouvlesse could've used their Atlas-class terraforming/transforming ship-cum-mecha, the
Deucalion for it's original purpose: forming habitable worlds, and via leasing/renting land on such or even selling whole planets for further development, these pureblooded Earth-based elite - and rulers of the entire galaxy (via the GU/GOTT) - would effectively create infinite wealth, thus they poured their entire liquid assets into the creation of such (and once said infinite wealth came pouring back, more Atlas-class ships/mecha could be built, and run on a 'franchise' basis; more worlds created, the Nouvlesse get a percentage on each world formed, thus even more wealth):
...but instead, the Nouvlesse's actual intent was to leave this galaxy via this population-carrying 'Ark', to travel to another (with all the automated facilities to create new infrastructures etc on board), with nothing to prevent the rest of the non-Nouvlesse population from tearing each other apart in the interstellar socio-economic collapse that would result in their abandonment of this one.
Moral: if it's not specifically mentioned in the Bible, it never happened.
And frankly, the scenario in the Sci-Fi anime series "Kiddy Grade" has far more credibility, seeing as - how they were able to create new worlds (and even resurrect certain people - the ES-Members of GOTT - via their control of the GOTT through the GU) - they effectively were as gods themselves.

God could also have made them not drown in the flood, which would have saved Noah all the hard work.
Or he could have told his creation to behave, which would have saved him the work of creating the flood.
Or, he doesn't exist, and neither the ark nor the flood ever existed either.

"A lot of you are disregarding the fact that God could've put the animals in a hibernating state so they didn't need to eat much, and God could've prevented the animals from eating each other."
God could have poofed all of the evil people out of existence, no flood needed.
God could have appeared to each person and explained that he wasn't happy with how they were acting.
God could have subtly influenced events from the beginning of time so that none of the evil people existed, thus there's no need for the flood.
God could have not put the fucking tree in the Garden and avoided all of this to begin with.
Do you see what's wrong with this whole "God could have" line of reasoning? It doesn't go anywhere because "God could have" done anything at anytime because he's supposedly fucking omnipotent. Instead of hiding behind "God could have," how about you just admit that your little story is a complete fabrication from start to finish?

Sure. The only problem is that the vast majority of animals can't hibernate at all.

And God could have helped Noah cram all the gajillion different species on board the Ark, and God could have helped keep the Ark afloat, because God knows that thing would have weighed a fuckton, what with all the animals aboard.
Or God could have, you know, gone with a less convoluted plan than flooding the entire Earth, like simply smite everyone He didn't like and get it over with.

That's poppycock! Everyone knows God put Lime Jello in the ocean and all of the animals ate thereof! The beauty of the Lime Jello theory is, that it also explains how a gigantic ship made of wood didn't break up and sink! Hibernation my ass! You're worse than the Strawberry Jello schism! YOU THINK YOU KNOW EVERYTHING? PROVE GOD DIDN'T INVENT JELLO! YOU CAN'T! SO THERE! GOOD DAY SIR!

There is a saying that I believe Carl Sagan mentioned in his book, "Demon-Haunted World." If someone else coined the phrase, let me know, but it's perfectly apt for this situation:
"A reason that can explain everything and anything really explains nothing."

Oh My Dog!
Fundie responses I have heard in response to various criticisms of Noah's Ark:
All the animals Noah took on board could have been babies.
All the dinosaurs Noah took on board could have been babies.
All modern animals are descendants of a limited number of "kinds" that Noah took on board. Somehow they all radiated out into many diverse species from there, and all without the help of evolution too!
God miraculously made all the food and fresh water for the animals resupply itself.
Noah and his family miraculously were given the strength and knowledge to care for all these various species.
And on it goes, we've heard it all.
