Indeed he does, and everyone else has the right to criticise him.
I don't think you understand how freedom of speech works.

Perhaps people and organizations who oppose same sex marriage should now start boycotting and publicly protesting against people, businesses. organizations and politicians who support same sex marriage.
They already do, dingbat.

Mr. Cathy has the right to his own beliefs, values and opinion when it comes to the issue of same sex marriage.
Sure he does. And gays have a right to protest. That's also in the first amendment.
The self-serving, violent, hate-filled Gay Activists and their political supporters and organizations need to respect Mr. Cathy's personal freedoms and leave Chick-Fil-A alone.
Being left alone is not a right guaranteed by the Constitution, protest is though. Oh, and by the way, your complaining about the "big mean gays" falls on deaf ears after the way you "Christian" bigots have treated gays for centuries. You can't deny a group their rights (and at times even kill them) and then expect sympathy when they finally fight back.
Perhaps people and organizations who oppose same sex marriage should now start boycotting and publicly protesting against people, businesses. organizations and politicians who support same sex marriage.
Fine. That IS a Constitutional right.

Mr. Cathy has the right to his own beliefs, values and opinion when it comes to the issue of same sex marriage.
Agreed 100%. However, so do people who disagree with his support of anti-gay organizations.
Perhaps people and organizations who oppose same sex marriage should now start boycotting and publicly protesting against people, businesses. organizations and politicians who support same sex marriage.
What do you mean, "now start?" Groups like the AFA have been doing this for decades.

Oh My Dog!
Yes, Mr. Cathy does. I have the same rights too.
Yes, kiss ins are terribly violent, why, they're just like tying someone to a fence, beating them, and then leaving them to die.
Oh, don't worry, I'll leave Chick-Fil-A alone.
As to the last part, have you been living in a cave, or under a rock or something?

Perhaps self-serving, hate filled anti marriage people should respect the personal freedoms of the pro marriage people and let the marry.

He has indeed the right to his own opinion, but he doesn't have the right to not be criticized for his opinion. Other people have the right to their opinions too, ya know.
Oh, I'll leave Chick-Fil-A alone, you can rest assured about that, as I don't even know what it is. I doubt it exists in Sweden.
Boycott away, what's stopping you? If you don't like something, don't support it. It's basic consumer power, didn't you know?

Do you say the same thing about religious activists who boycott Nabisco, General Mills, and other organizations that support marriage equality? If not, then you are a hypocrite,.

This fellow is wrong, but only a little bit.
This Cathy person has the right to express his opinion.
Other people have the right to protest and complain (this is where this person blanks out, it seems).
And the government can't try to force either opinion on either side, especially via legislation and attempts to ban Chick-Fil-A.

I guess this freak forgot that Bill0 the Clown tried to get all his worshipers to boycott France. Granted; that particular episode wasn't about "teh gay" but does serve as a demonstration of Reichwhiners boycotting those, including an entire country, who don't agree with them.
BTW. France was right and Dubbya was wrong.

I'm leaving them alone, I've been doing a personal boycott for close to two years now since I found out they're not just a religious company, they're catering for free to groups I felt were infringing on the rights of others.
I represent lost revenue. And I hope more people will do the same over the next few years. Appreciation day is one day, boycotts can drag on for a lot longer than that.

He donated money to groups that supported and probably provoke the Ugandan "kill the gays" legislation. Therefore, he can't have any more of my money. Even a Christian should be able to understand that "round people up and slaughter them" is not anything Jesus advocated.
