It is sad to think that people object good things in life. Chick-Fil-A is standing and trying to keep people out of hell. Somehow people don't get it that when it is in their best interest they just reject it. So sad !

Chick-Fil-A donates money to hate groups that wish to see me imprisoned. It's in my best interest not to eat there.

Nope, I don't object to good things in life, like being able to marry the love of your life (regardless of gender), only having as many kids as you want when you want them, eating shellfish and cooking elaborate Sunday dinners, having nice clothes of mixed fabrics, etc.

All things that the Bible prohibits people from having/doing. So sad!

Some people are reasonable and rely on facts and evidence to shape their worldview.

What facts and evidence do you have that hell is a real place or that homosexuals will go there?

If your evidence is the bible than people who eat shellfish, plant two seeds in one hole, wear cotton and linen clothing, etc. will also go to hell.

Have you done any of these things?

Chick-Fil-A is standing and trying to keep people out of hell.

LOL. They're not acting on their own selfish self-interests, they're just trying to help the evil heathens who aren't as holy as they are.

Somehow people don't get it that when it is in their best interest they just reject it.

And I always thought it was conservatives who were against the idea of a nanny state.

Chick-fil-a can try to keep people out of hell, azeroth, mos-eisley spaceport, or earthsea... without supporting a hatefull pack of raving bigots.

"Chick-Fil-A is standing and trying to keep people out of hell."

By feeding them pork? Leviticus begs to differ.

Chick-Fil-A is fast food James. Their business depends on people not doing what is in their best interests.

It is also sad to think that people give too much power to Chick-Fil-A, too. Not to mention it occurs on both sides of the argument as well.

I think it is in everyones best interest to send you to wherever you believe you are going after you die. I can't imagine you or anyone objecting to this.

"Chick-Fil-A is standing and trying to keep people out of hell."

Or, you know, they're just getting free publicity. There's no such thing as bad publicity, as they say.

Maybe that's just me being cynical though.

Why would God need Chick-Fil-A's help? If Baptists think gay people are going to hell, then just tell them and leave it at that. Don't go trying to influence the government to push your religion on other people.

No, it's money is being donated to hate groups dedicated to making the life of gay people hell on earth.

Says the person destroying their 'temple' eating all that garbage that's in their food at Chick-Fil-A. Doesen't your bible say something about protecting your temple?

To send someone to Hell for not accepting him as god, then I don't want to be hanging around with them for the rest of eternity.

People DO get it. Chick-Fil-A is run by some deluded folks who are inflicting their delusions on others. We get it.

Oh My Dog!

Well James, isn't having the right to marry one of the good things in life?

Dan Cathy supports groups that fight against that very thing.

Through Winshape, Chick-Fil-A has donated millions Focus on the Family, Family Research Council, Exodus International, and other similar organizations, that is why people are upset.

And James, only I get to decide what is in my best interest, not some fundie bigot.

As far as I remember it says in the Bible you should spread the gospel, not force it on others with vioalence and laws. Of course it also says you should erect god's kingdom on earth, which I always took as "don't be a dick" and not as a call to force others to live after your ethical standards even though they have already heard your message and just don't freaking agree.

It's called liberty. Look it up.

PS: Anybody else find it ironic that a company that sounds like slang for "chicken fucker" is so homophobic?
