Given that Obama has been calling for the US to be more friendly to the outside world, I have a hard time comparing him to Hitler. In fact, if I were to pick a candidate who is all for increasing our military strength and striking fear into the hearts of our enemies, and is all about American exceptionalism it would have to be Romney.
I will not, however, go so far as to compare Romney to Hitler (he's more into money, I think, than he is into ruling the world).

I see I'm not the only one who noticed the unfortunate implications of Buzzardhut saying "The first few years of Hitler were good times...".

I'm surprised Buzzardhut didn't respond with an immediate ban-hammer. He did to me when I asked him why waterboarding was a war crime when the Japanese did it to Americans but not when Americans did it to various middle-eastern people...

While I don't agree with Buzzardhut, he is free to say it, and I understand the point he is trying to make. Although Hitler is an extreme exaggeration to use.

Oh this is were I really hate being German, it makes you know shit like German history.
Ok, let's try this calmly,
"The first few years of Hitler were good times, lots of nationalism and camaraderie, Obama can't even pull that one off,"
No. As soon as Hitler came to power, civil rights were suspended, you lost your right to speak your mind, to practice some religions (but not all), some forms of music were outlawed ("nigger music" like Jazz), and most important of all, people started to disappear, now granted you wouldn't agree with most of those who got disappeared like Communists and Social Democrats (if you know the difference), but still, if people dissappear, that's bad. You know why Obama "can't even pull that off"? COUSE OBAMA ISN'T HITLER! The man barely qualifies as social democrat.
And no, neither is Bush - Bush is way to stupid to plan anything as well as Hitler did. Probably equal amounts of hate in them though.

I think we need a CSTDT (Conservatives say the darndest things) to separate the crazy liberal hating whackoes from the religious nuts. Sure they are related but still different

Bush wasn't a Hitler or the Anti-Christ. He was a bumbling idiot that lied and drew your country into an endless war on terrorism. Vote Obama out, and watch how bad it gets with Mitt The Twit. He was only in the UK one day before he became an absolute laughingstock.

But did you not know that Hitler lived so we must all be evil like him. Gotta love logical fallacies ... or not.

i would say having armed men round people up and force them to live in ghettos is alot closer to agreeing to a bunch of stupid taxcuts that allowed corporations to make vast quantities of money, thereby keeping it out of the hands of the common people and from being used to repair and maintain essential infrastructure(which pretty much resulted in everybody being forced to live in ghettos anyway[because everywhere that rich people do not see is pretty much a ghetto now], not just a select group), than it is to repealing aforementioned tax cuts and installing a healthcare system that does not require that you a)have been in absolutely perfect health up until this time and b)gives you access to hospitals when and if you need them.

Ducking the question again.
Many, including the media, never contended with others who claimed Bush was a Hitler or even the Antichrist
That's because, contrary to the right's revisionist history, they were a very, very tiny minority.
