Did these creatures (insects) also evolve from a dinosaur?
No. Insects are the only animals that have true wings (separate appendages, as opposed to ordinary fins, arms or legs modified for flight). Birds don't have true wings. Try some hot Buffalo wings with an ice cold Corona for a lunch-time anatomy lesson: birds have arms with a humerus (the "drumette") and an ulna and radius bone (the "winglet" or "flat") just like humans. They've been modified by evolution to have long feathers growing out of the backs of them.

These people really try hard staying mind-numbingly ignorant.

Heaven-Sent is really racking them up today! Maybe s/he's in a competition to beat Carico and SuperSport at their own game.

When I opened this thread the IQ of my entire neighbourhood dropped.

Heaven-Sent, don't worry your pretty head about it. Just leave the sciencey stuff to those with a full frontal lobe.

"I am very interested in the evolution of flying insects. Did these creatures also evolve from a dinosaur?"
Yes. As far as I can remember it happened on a Thursday.

*facepalm* No.Just no. Not every flying thing had to evolve from a dinosaur. Ugh.

I'm sorry your goal posts are in another reality.

We are not to blame for your unending stupidity.

Don't forget Bugs Bunny.

"What's up, doc; what's cookin'?
Hey, look out--STOP!
You're gonna hurt someone,
with that ol' shotgun:
Ehhhh, what's up, Doc? (I really mean it!)"--Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd, sung in the Mel Blanc classic (naturally) titled "What's up, Doc?"

Seriously, it takes real effort to that willfully ignorant. I mean, Archaeopteryx and theropods WERE fucking dinos.
