"Well, Al Green is nuts," [Robert Spencer] tells OneNewsNow. "He [is] talking about something that's essentially fictional. There are no Christians who are citing the Bible and using it to justify acts of violence and terrorism."
Anders Brevic would like a word.
So would all those KKK loons who lack the guts to act on their fantasys.
Although strictly speaking, anything a muslim does is considered "terrorism" these days... from baking bread to planting a tree, its all "terrorism".
The fact that so many muslims life under openly anti-islamc conquerors, may have something to do with the anger of the islamic community.
"Radicalized" is a euphamism for "Targeted"?

Does this guy not remember just a few weeks ago when a North Carolina pastor used the Bible to justify putting gay people in CONCENTRATION CAMPS!?
However it's a very good thing that this kind of thinking is not in any way representative of Americans in general.

Rev. 2:26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: 2:27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.
Straight from Jesus's Mouth!
Sadly, all too many Christians seem to follow this sort of attitude towards non-Christians.

You can argue that the Christians using the Bible to justify terrorism and violence aren't good Christians (and then I'd have to ask how they are bad Christians if in their mind they are following the words of the Bible to their best ability), you can even say that they aren't being 100% genuine (even though such a claim would require the ability to read minds) but to deny that the Bible was ever used to stir violence or terrorism is so ignorant that it HAS to be willful and thus dishonest. I mean you'd have to be completely ignorant of abortion clinic bombings, Anders Brevik (which was pretty big news), the Crusades, the Inquisition, the Catholic/Protestant skirmishes, etc. It is far more likely that Robert Spencer is lying than it is that he is that utterly ignorant of history as to not know even the basics.

These people also claim muslims who are not attacking infidels are not good muslims.

Those defending slavery, those against abortion and those against inter-racial marriages often cited the Bible and committed violence "for" their causes.

No Spencer. You do NOT get to excuse just how warped, bloodthirsty, and overall utterly fucked up your religion is. You Christians have enjoyed that privilege for far too long.
