Good for those guys for coming to terms with themselves. "Curing" homosexuality is so harmful and destructive, I hate to think of what people feel and have to go through being in one of those awful groups. It's stomach churning.

And yeah I'm sure it was their plan the whole time, to undermine their own organization that they started themselves. Pretty sneaky, gays!

No, it's not. If they admit they're wrong, it means the Bible's not infallible. Since so much of their worldview is based on the understanding that the Bible is the word of God and is infallible, they'd be admitting that they do not actually understand the world perfectly, and their God's existence is cast into some doubt. I can see where that'd be scary, especially for those who have been brought up to not question things. Not that that makes it right, of course.
