This crazy woman's view of Satanism is heavily fictionalized. Satanists these days just do whatever they wish and have rituals only on certain days. They are more than aware of the hypocrisy inherent within Christianity and other religions, and set themselves against it by endorsing pleasure and indulgence instead of abstinence. Despite all appearances to the contrary, Satanists may be better people than savagesusie and her ilk, which is what she fears.

That being said, some kinds of religion, yours included, do not tend towards creating "independent individualists", but rather people who are slaves to the religious beliefs they are taught, both incapable of really thinking about their religion, and incapable of understanding those outside their religion.
