Actually, I noticed that people on this website seemed obsessed with me, quoting me again and again. I thought that perhaps someone here had some serious arguments to make to defend their beliefs which they are so certain of that they make ridiculing anyone disagreeing with a full time hobby.

Disappointingly, it looks like a bunch of 18 year old pot heads. It's a shame that more mature people use the Internet so much less for non-work purposes.

Well put... A significant number of the people on this site often prove themselves to be no better than the people who are quoted here.

That being said, I do feel your original quote (that people are mocking you over) is very far from the truth, as well as needlessly offensive, so unless there's some context we're missing, I can't really blame the commenters here for being upset at you.

Them's the terms, they're not up for negotiation. Then - and only then - will we acknowledge that this 'God' of yours exists (whether or not he's worthy of praise, respect or worship is an entirely different matter).

...now, can you do that for me, jp? What's that you say? You can't?! Well, colour me surprised (just as every other fundie I've made this request of either evaded their way out of the debate - thus losing, and making me the winner - or never showing up again, thus again losing the debate, and proving me more than infinitely superior). Therefore by your own admission - and omission, you yourself have proved that your 'God' doesn't exist, and we Atheists are right in what we say, as we've always been saying all along.

I have no rotten bodies in my basement, no rotting corpses in the back yard, I've never raped anybody of any age or either gender, and I've never been stoned. Nor am I a criminal, unless you count a couple of speeding tickets almost twenty years ago.

Actually, if you compare the two comments (the anonymous one to yours), you'll find that he didn't accuse you of being any of those things. All he said that those sorts of people professed belief in a god.

Your response, however, was a personal attack - to claim that the person was a murderer and child molester. Since the poster was (as you've said) anonymous, there is no way you could have evidence to support that claim, while the original poster could certainly pull up a list of criminals of any sort who claim belief in a god. Therefore, you were rude, he (while admittedly stereotyping) was not.

Now, if you could provide some evidence to support your claim that this anonymous poster is a murderer and child molester, we would be happy to see it.
