Isn't it just a bitch when God only communicates through vague coincidences?

Note that havoc created in southern states obviously means the leadership is in the wrong. Couldn't be any possible other, perhaps more direct, interpretations of that.

Looks like the judgment went Okay - Tropical Storm Debbie never became a hurricane.
7/1/2012 4:30:36 AM
And then there were judges Andrew and Katrina.

If you keep digging any deeper into the barrel of fundie logic you will smack your hand against the earth's core.
7/1/2012 4:48:09 AM
This is so pathetic.

"Was this symbolic of the continued judgment of the U.S. leadership.."

Whatever happened to fiery infernos, global flooding and pillars of salt? Did God run out of mana or something? Did He mellow out in his old age? Has He simply gone senile?
7/1/2012 6:40:04 AM
Or? Jesus, a dude who loved his 12 male disciples "above all others", is sending storms to tell us to stop denying rights to gay people. Or? Gaea is sending storms to warn us to stop polluting. Or? We puny humans are creating the storms by altering the fundamental chemical composition of the environment. Or...
7/1/2012 6:59:06 AM
Please note that is was the SOUTHERN states that got clobbered. Maybe God is trying to tell them something?
7/1/2012 7:20:13 AM
Honestly, Americans will accept ANY explanation that doesn't involve global warming! If the world gets wrecked, it's America's fault.
7/1/2012 7:22:06 AM
Wow. Mr Fantastic of the Fantastic Four can't stretch as far as you can.
7/1/2012 7:23:26 AM
"Tropical Storm Debby, the only time in history that a 4th named storm has formed prior to July 1st, dumps TONS of water and creates havoc in the southern states. Debby is short for Deborah, the only female judge in the entire Bible - was this symbolic of the continued judgment of the U.S. leadership, an administration almost exclusively filled with small a anti-Christs"
If you people put half as much thought, effort, and energy into something that mattered, the world might be a nice enough place for your Jesus to stop back by.
7/1/2012 7:23:29 AM
Headline writers the world over were horribly disappointed that Debbie didn't get to Dallas
7/1/2012 7:40:00 AM
Ever think that maybe God is punishing the conservative religious nuts in the South instead of the current U.S. leadership? Why is it these idiots think that natural disasters are always punishment for stuff they don't like, especially when such disasters happen in the conservative South? Instead of thinking that maybe God doesn't like them being such judgmental, oppressive pricks, they see it as a sign to be even bigger judgmental, oppressive pricks.
7/1/2012 8:20:13 AM
rubber chicken FTW!
7/1/2012 8:24:21 AM
Or maybe god is trying to send a message to all the fundamentalists in the southern states.
7/1/2012 8:30:11 AM
Gee, as far as I know, it's been nothing but hot rainless days where I'm at. And I'm in one of those southern states. I don't understand what you're going on about.
7/1/2012 9:28:09 AM
So, uh, "Deborah" dumps on the BIBLE BELT. Looks like the Supreme Being has a problem with YOU & YOUR ilk rather than the Progressives.
(I'm subverting this goober's argument, guys.)
7/1/2012 9:28:37 AM
THAT must be why I feel guilty when I pig out on Little Debbie snacks. Jebuz is judging me! lol
7/1/2012 9:32:11 AM
These 4 storms are gods punishment for Canada introducing gay marriage seven years ago. His aim is a bit off but he reacted quickly as we know a day is to god like a 1000 year for us humans. He actually reacted just a fews seconds after Canada changed it's laws!
7/1/2012 9:43:47 AM
Oh, sure. Just like Hurricane Katrina was God's punishment for gays. That's why Church Row was levelled, but the French Quarter was left relatively untouched.

"and creates havoc in the southern states."
Sorry about that. I'm an atheist, from/living in the deep south, so that was probably God trying to smite my ass, innocent bystanders be damned. Of course I live nowhere close to the ocean so God's aim sucks. lulz
7/1/2012 10:46:53 AM
God sure seems to hate the Bible Belt.
