Ugh. Nasty stuff.Advocating the abandonment of children, possibly to die, is pretty clearly despicable. Notice how I said "Children" not "Boys"? Yeah, it doesn't matter. Kinda like in China... they have a larger population of men because of female infanticide.
These people are basically polarizing things so far as to go "Well, we don't want you around, so either die or we ignore you or... segregation is fun!"
Though I'm surprised by some of the responses with the typical "patriarchal" response of denigrating these women based around their relationship to men rather than just being a terrible human being.
To paraphrase: "Oh, she must be ugly, no man will want her". What the heck does that have to do with it? Please.
And I wonder, exactly what would be the response if she said what she could legally get away with? "A baby boy? Put it up for adoption! Get it away from me!"

As for if she was only 'get it away from me' she'd still probably be seen at a bit batshit, since, well, it's an entirely sexist and rather loopy reason for ridding yourself of a child you otherwise wanted.
