Oh, yes, Sweden is much more unstable, crime-ridden, and heavy in debt than Somalia. The Swedish Krona is much weaker than the Somali Shilling. Woe betide us poor Swedish women, who never have acid thrown in our faces nor get killed by our fathers/brothers to hide the shame of thinking women.
The term illegitimacy is not valid in Sweden; all children are legitimate.

Because the fundie level in a society is strongly correlated to a whole host of social ills. Using the circular reasoning favored by most fundies, a few acid burned dicks is a small price to pay for preventing a different kind of fundie from taking control of government and imposing his religion on the first fundie.
But fundies are too dim to grasp that concept, so they have to be kept under control using methods that one wouldn't use on a rabid dog.

As for the bit about "illegitimacy" at the end, here's an interesting thought. How many of the fundies ranting about the "evils" of this, and demanding that the stigma against "illegitimate" children be brought back are also rabid pro-lifers?
