Quote# 87354

Dear Penn Jillette the so-called atheist (who is afraid to debate Bible believers):

I was looking at the April 17, 2012 article entitled The Penn & Teller Election and it appears that you are still width challenged. What happened? I thought you possessed the "super atheist intellect".

Do not the scientific disciplines of exercise science, nutritional science and medical science have an abundance of solutions to being overweight? Doesn't medical science declare there are significant health risks with being overweight?

Is the problem sin? The sins of sloth and gluttony? Are you sure God does not exist? The reason I ask is that there sure is a lot of evidence that God exist as can be seen by the resources offered here: Evidence for Christianity. By the way, do you have any proof and evidence that atheism is true?

Conservative, once again trying to pretend he is more intelligent than the average second-grader and failing.

I love how Conservapedia literally stoops to the "yeah, well, you're FAT!" school of debate.

I love the "I was looking at the ... article" piece wherein he (?) notices Penn's weight. Actually, that means he was looking at the picture that accompanied the article. You couldn't tell me a damn thing in the article itself because you didn't actually read it.

What does that make Rush then?

Or their Tea Party crowds and NRA meetings, Palin book signings,,,etc

Honestly, the outright pretentions of these fucks is amazing. Rush is a good example as not only is he very fat, he's completely hypocritical about it in this grand conservative tradition. Rush is constantly refering to others as fat and lazy.

Maybe you should learn some basic fucking logic.

Atheism exists. There are people who do not believe in deities.

And to attack someone's weight or physical appearance? WTF? Jesus would be proud of those ad homs! Gee, do you think maybe some peoples' physical structure may have to do with their genetics (not that environment (diet, exercise) isn't a factor).

Now, excuse me while I take a glance across Tea Party Christian Taliban land -yup, just as I thought...a bunch of overweight, angry, middle-aged, mustard-stained factory workers who feel everyone owes them something.

Considering who it comes from, I shouldn't be surprised at this. That whole site runs on insane troll logic.

Fat people can be perfectly healthy, just as thin people can be horribly unhealthy; actions determine health, not appearance. Your insistence on such a pathetic stereotype in lieu of an actual, rational argument reveals the inherent flaw in you cult and many of those who follow it.

Probably the most desperate one yet. Penn Jillette is fat, therefore God exists.
What they've overlooked is that Penn Jillette supports the right of people to get fat if they so choose.

Penn Jillete is fat, therefore God?

Does this actually make sense to you, Ed? Are you suggesting that God made him fat?

I'm fairly sure that this would still count as an answer

....Despite being an answer to the article before the last.

Of course, another good video response by Penn (to anything by Conservative) is this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=toxIiMWQgKA

" Are you sure God does not exist? The reason I ask is that there sure is a lot of evidence that God exist as can be seen by the resources offered here: "

I am sure god exists, because I've seen the quality of the resources offered here. If you had something better you would have shown it.

"Do not the scientific disciplines of exercise science, nutritional science and medical science have an abundance of solutions to being overweight? "

Do not the scientific disciplines of marketing, food psychology and free market worship have an abundance of ways to make people buy and eat more food thereby making more profit for Big Ag?

"Doesn't medical science declare there are significant health risks with being overweight?"

Medical science also says evolution happened. Are we accepting medical science as valid or not?

"Is the problem sin?"

Yes it is. You conservatives worship the free market, making a profit by causing disease, then opposing affordable health care because it will cut into your profit. That's a sin.

Theres lots of sin and fatness in your oh-so-religious red states.

Here's a chart for you better educated fundies who can read.

A Christian, commenting on anyone else's shape OR sloth and gluttony? This is rich. Have you seem most Christians? They are the very definition of not only morbid obesity, but laziness and greed. But then again, it isn't surprising, considering they are intellectually lazy, and that can translate to physical laziness. Take a good long look in the mirror, OP, and slap yourself for being such a hypocrite on the subject. That is, if you aren't too lazy to do even that.

You're telling me that Christians aren't fat? They're the ones always having prayer breakfasts, bake sales, and potluck dinners.

Leave him alone. 'conservative', in reality a poor sad person called Ken De Meyer, is a mentally ill loner whose only purpose in life is to post meaningless screeds at schlaflys blog. Let him do it in peace, really the poor fuck is so ill he needs it to keep him alive.

By the way, do you have any proof and evidence that atheism is true?

Atheism is a skeptical position on the existence of gods. One does not have to prove that something doesn't exist in order to be skeptical of it, The burden of proof is on the one making the positive claim, not the skeptic.

Feel that Christian Love!

It's better to be width challenged than smrt challenged.
You seem to be even more afraid to debate; resorting to "Well, you're FAT". That's not really a mature argument, is it, dearie?

Science knows several reasons why people become fat, yes. Some of them are medical, some are behavioral, some are hereditary. But knowledge is not action. Maybe Mr Jillette likes good food and nice wine, and is prepared to live a bit dangerous? It's his life, he has the right to live it as he sees fit, as long as he doesn't infringe on other people's human rights. There are significant risks with driving or riding in a car, too, after all.

At least he's not as fat as Rush Limbaugh... Talk about Sloth and Gluttony, and HE actually buys into that bullshittery.

Evidence for Christianity is rather irrelevant; we all know that Christianity exists. What we haven't yet received tangible evidence for is the existence of any deities, whatsoever, let alone your particular deity.
