"...I know I never hid my opinions on evolution and creationism..."
"...raising my hands and exclaiming "How great Thou Art"...
- And she wonders she never got her job back!
"...what if I became an American dictator..."
- What about 'power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely'?
"...but I would not spare anybody!"
- Why should you with no checks and balances to stop you doing exactly as you like - including murder - and total immunity afterwards.
Here speaks the true voice of Christian Fundamentalism. This woman is fascism incarnate.

In my daydreams where I'm ruler of the world, fundies aren't allowed any political power, it's illegal to deny reproductive rights to anyone, and everyone has the right to marry and has access to proper healthcare. Then I come back to the real world and I am sad.

What we have here folks is the reason you don't want your TA (usually a masters' degree student) teaching classes. They then go online and pretend that they are professors.
*Though these days a lot of universities are using adjunct (MA only, not PhD) "professors" to teach most classes. Ahhh, budgets...

"I used to teach biology at a technical college. I know I never hid my opinions on evolution and creationism. In fact I was known for, after explaining some "fascinating aspect of molecular biology", raising my hands and exclaiming "How great Thou Art". Like my husband likes to remind me, I am not employed there any longer and all my attempts to return to the college and the classes that I love have been unsuccessful."
That not only shows that you're dead ignorant, it also shows you have limited respect for the law and an inability to follow instructions. You don't teach there any more? Good riddence.
"Sometimes I like to daydream about what if I became an American dictator. You know, just like the Romans used to do in the Republican times when things were getting out of hand, someone who was given absolute power for a limited time, with a life-time immunity for the decissions made while in office. It worked for them, and I wonder if it would work for us. Anyhow, if I became absolute ruler for a time, I think the first thing I would do (after overturning Roe vs. Wade) would be to get rid of all judges. I would hold special elections to replace them, but I would not spare anybody!"
So your wet dream is to have absolute power for life so that you can trample the rights of people who disagree with you, even to the point of killing them. You don't really understand what the U.S. was founded for, do you? Not that it always works well, but we don't have a dictator.
Of course, then we have to consider the odds of people, even your nutjob friends, electing you to absolute power.

So you got fired from a science teachers position for denying science?
That's a good thing.
Would you expect to keep a history position if you taught your students that bush did 9/11 and lizard people run the government?
Idiot.

You know there's some cognitive dissonance when people who fantasize about becoming dictators post on a forum called, "free republic."

I used to teach biology at a technical college.
During the Cold War era, 1982 to be exact, a friend of mine was at the University of Maryland. He had a class in political science with a teacher who refused to mention communism in class. This teacher demanded that communism wasn't a political system.
Fundies come in all flavors, shapes, and sizes.

@I Read About The Afterlife
Look at it from a more positive view. At least this freeper is being honest for once in her life about how she "thinks" the world should be run, rather than using the standard buzzwords like freedom, liberty, and whatnot. Honesty's a good thing, right?

I know just how bad you would be. You would be bad enough of a tyrant that i would use any and all methods to make sure you would be dead.

I think Former Fetus is a sock puppet for Dr. Ray Bohlin, (Probe Ministries, Plano Texas) or his wife. Either that, or a Poe.
"First thing we do, let's kill all the lawyers" W. Shakespeare, Henry VI part II. - also intended to be tongue-in-cheek.

How can you be a dictator? Women are not to have authority over men, it says so in the Bible.
Your view of Roman history is also not quite right.
I thought you people were supposed to revere the constitution. Here you are talking about overturning it and proclaiming yourself emperor, in effect a military coup.
Isn't guarding against tyranny the whole reason for the Second Amendment right to bear arms?

Welcome to Free Republic! The only place where dictatorships and unquestionable absolute power pave the way for a free and prosperous nation.

"It worked for them, and I wonder if it would work for us."
Yes, if by 'worked' you mean an unstable, tyrannical, violent empire that eventually collapsed in on itself and created countless horrors for millions of people.
"would be to get rid of all judges. I would hold special elections to replace them, but I would not spare anybody!"
You also fail to understand the the Judicial branch was created to prevent fascist lunatics like yourself from oppressing the rest of society.

You're lying.
It worked for them
Except it didn't, at all. Sulla went on a binge of executing anyone who looked at him funny, Fabius was a religious fanatic who sacrificed the entire harvest to the gods and Caesar Julius indirectly destroyed the Republic.
